Need Advice, My 1 Year Old Refuses to Drink Milk

I have a 1 year old that was drinking milk from her bottle no problem for about 3 weeks and then about 1 week ago completely refused her bottle all together and now won't even drink milk out of the sippy cup. I have tried adding chocolate to it, i have tried every different sippy cut that i have, i have tried a straw, i even tried a plain cup...she takes one sip and then bats it away, i am just concerned because the doctor said she should have at least 16oz of milk a day at this age. She does eat yogurt but only 1x a day. I would love some...

13 Month Old Won't Drink Milk from Cup

HI, My 13 month old daughter will not drink milk from a sippy cup. She will drink water from a sippy cup, and has been for many months, but she refuses to drink milk or any other beverage for that matter (juice) from her cup. Any suggestions? hello every one,I have a 13 month old little girl who is the best thing in my world, she is a very good gilr 90% of the time and is so easy going, she makes it fun to be a mom. Weaning Child with Milk & Soy Issues

My son is almost a year and I want to start weaning him, but it looks like he won't be able to drink dairy (even lactose free) or soy milk. He has an intolerance to both, not a true allergy. He has acid reflux and eating either makes it much worse. Has anyone had this problem? What do I give him besides water and juice? It seems like rice milk isn't recommended and it's not very healthy. We have a family history of an almond allergy, so I haven't tried that. I'm desperate to be done nursing, since I can't eat dairy or soy either. Help!

Milk Requirements for 1 Year Old

We recently transferred our 1 year old from the bottle to a cup. He is drinking Vitamin D milk, yet since transferring to the cup, he only drinks 4-8oz a day (and that is pushing it). He doesn't cry for the bottle, but I am thinking I should give him a bottle at night to up the oz's. I did give him a bottle last night, and sure enough he drank 8 oz before bed. Any ideas? How much milk does a 1 year old need?
