6 Week Old Bowel Movements

I have a 6 week old who still has a very loose stool. He was a large baby, 9lbs 1 oz and is still gaining weight, which is the only concern my doctor had when I called about this. I am concerned maybe he isn't getting all the nutrition he should from his formula...I could kick myself for not breastfeeding! His stool is very runny and sometimes seedy, like when they are first born? He is taking Similac Advance...I switched to Isomil and it got worse. He is also very gasy, poor little guy...any advice?

Formula and Constipation

My question is everyone's experience with formula and if their babies get constipation. My first son got constipated and then blood in stools. Now my second son has been constipated off and on since we brought him home 3 weeks ago. I currently breatsfeed for 10 minutes or more on each breast and then supplement with 3-4 ounces of formula (I do not produce enough milk to exclusively breastfeed - my 3 sisters have all had same problem) When we brought him home - 3 days later we had to give him a suppository. Did I Do the Right Thing?

Yesterday, I was at our local Sam's Club getting new tires. We were there 4 hours(a whole 'nother story) and while I was there, I needed to go to the bathroom. I took my18 MO son with me. When we got to the bathroom, the door was propped open because they had recently mopped the floors. Right in plain view from the door is the changing station.
