Bottle-Fed 6 Month Old

My 6.5 month old has been bottle fed since 2 weeks old. We use the Avent bottles. We've tried to switch to the "3" nipple flow since he was 3 months, without success. It worked for awhile at around 5 months, but then he got a cold and had trouble breathing and eating and would either fight off the bottle, cough or cry so we switched back to the "2". Washing Bottle Nipples...

Okay-This is probably just a ridiculous question BUT how come you cannot put baby bottle nipples on the bottom of the dishwasher? Here's a look as to how much free time my husband and I apparently have:) We put the bottles in the dishwasher and the nipples and screw top things in a holder made for the dishwasher. Aaagggghhh, What to Do Because of the Formula Recall???

Okay, so most of you have probably heard about the massive formula recall. And of course the toddler formula we use was recalled. I was just getting ready to switch from toddler formula to goat's milk, but didn't want to do it cold turkey! I am afraid that if I just abruptly switch it will seriously mess up the baby's stomach.
