How Do You Make a Bottle?

I have a bottle fed 6 month old. I'm curious about how other mothers make their bottles. I use cold tap water then add the formula. My formula always ends up with sludge in the bottom of the bottle no matter how much I mix it. I use regular Enfamil, it's what we get from WIC. I use the cold tap water because my Ped said that the hot water from the tap sometimes gets stuff in it from the pipes. And city water is fine here. Do you premake your bottles? How do you warm up a refrigerated bottle?

My 2 Month Old Won't Take a Bottle Anymore

I had a little girl on the 30th of May and have been breastfeeding her since then. I am a school teacher so have had the summer off and have been breastfeeding on demand. I would also give her a bottle whenever we were out in public instead of breastfeeding. Anyway, this past Monday I had to attend a workshop for the day. It was my...

Similac Vs. Enfamil

Hello Mommies! I have a newborn, only 13 days old. We've figured out she has a milk intolerance so we started giving her Similac Alimentum formula about a week ago. Since, she has gotten better but now, about 20 mins after she eats, she goes through a rough period where she obviously uncomfortable, inconsolable crying, squirming, grunting, etc. I have heard that Similac products are harder on their systems than Enfamil products. I want to switch her to Enfamil Nutramagen but I'm waiting for the doctor to call me back. By the way, the...
