Blood in Baby's Diaper

My breastfeeding two month old son has been having 'stringy' blood in his poop since yesterday morning. The Dr yesterday said she sees a very small anal fisher and that might be the cause. i just don't see how it could be coming from something so tiny. she also mentioned it could be from dairy in my diet. he's otherwise a very healthy, smiley, talkative, full term baby. Any other moms/babies experience this?

Best Bottle for Colic

New to this website...ok--My hubby and I are trying to get pregnant with our second child. My first son, now a healthy 8 year old, had major tummy issues as an infant!! Very colic-gas-spit uppy baby. So...my question is do any of you other Mamas use the Avent or Dr. Brown's bottles?? Let me know if the extra cost is worth it or if you have any other recommendations. Of course, I will breast...

Baby Allergic to Cow's Milk and Soy Milk

We're in the process of switching my 1 year old daughter off of breast milk, but she appears to be allergic to cow's milk and now soy milk (mostly just contact reactions where the milk dribbles on her face). What is left? I've heard there are hypoallergenic formula's out there, but I'm worried she won't like the taste (we never could get her to drink infant formula and she didn't seem to even like the cow's milk). What about goat milk? Does anyone else have any experience with this issue?

Question About Similac Alimentum

I have a two month old who has had some feeding issues. His doctor put him on Alimentum two days ago because of his spitting up. He had been gaining weight well. My doc put him on this to help ease his tummy. Since being put this formula he had wanted to eat more often and more formula at a time. Before being switched he ate every 6 oz every 3-4 hours. Now he wants 7 oz every 2-3 hours. He had been sleeping through the night since he was 6 weeks old so he only goes through 5-6 bottles a day. FYI he is a big boy. At birth he was 10 lbs 1...

Kirkland Brand Formula

Do any moms out there use the Kirkland brand Formula- Like/don't Like? I've compared it to Similac Advanced and as near as I can tell they are very similar- You just can't beat the price difference!
