Help - My 13 Month Old Has a Bad Diaper Rash!

My 13 month old daughter developed a sudden diaper rash with two very raw areas that look like popped blisters (approx 2 cm in diameter)right where her bottom cheeks meet. Otherwise the bottom is red rashy looking. She has only had a little rash once before in her life, which healed completely within a few days. This is the fourth day of this and I'm starting to wonder if it is more complicated than just diaper rash. Any thoughts or advise on how to care for this. Best Baby Shower Gifts and Ideas for Games

I have a two-part question as my mom and best friend have started to plan my baby shower. First, what were the best and worst gifts you received at your baby shower, or in other words, what should I be SURE to have on my registry, and what could I do without? My husband will have the son we've been praying for in two months. Some friends from our church are wanting to throw us a shower - can you give me an idea of the "must-have's" for an 18 month old? I don't have anything for our baby at this point except my collection of Little Golden books!
