Any Reactions to Xopenex or Pulmicort?

Has anyone's child use a nebulizer with Xopenex or Pulmicort and had any behavioral reactions? My 2 year old has been acting terrible lately and we have been using these medications for a few days. Just wondering if there could be a connection? Thanks!

10 Month Old Son with Occasional Congestion

I have a 10 mo son that started having RSV-like symptoms when he was 3 mo (January) and would go through a bad bout of them each month afterwards until he was 6 mo old (April). After that last time in April, the symptoms would just linger around mildly and he would sound good 1 or 2 weeks, then sound congested again. And on and on. We did the breathing treatments (Albuterol and Pulmicort) around the clock when he was really bad and then when the symptoms were just mild, we would do breathing treatments as needed. We were in and out of...

Cough That Won't Go Away in a Almost 4 Year Old

I am so worried, my son has had a cough since early October. I have taken to the pediatrician and he has given him a total of 5 round of antibiotics and antibiotic shots included. He's now on Zithromax. The Dr ran a bunch of blood work and said everythig is fine but it points to sinus infection and bronchitis. I was really scared of something like cancer or a tumor but the dr says the bllod work would show it. He also is taking Xopenex and Pulmicort by nebulizer a few times a day. It just wotn't go away. I am so worried that there is...

Xopenex HFA & Singular Medicine

My 6 year old granddaughter has been taking Xopenex HFA inhaler for a few months now as well as Singular tablets at other times. I have noticed a severe personality change. She is typically meek & mild but after taking this she becomes angry, irritable and down right ugly to the family. I have researched as much as I can but there seems to be a roadblaock to any manufacturer wanting to admit to this. I am not looking for a law suit or money just verification that this is what is causing it so we can handle this accordingly.

21 Month Old Daughter Always Sick

Ok, I am a first time mom, but I can't help feeling like my little girl is ALWAYS sick. Since January, she has had 7 ear infections which have finally been put under control by ear tubes in June. She got croupe for the 3rd time last week, which was followed up with strep throat and wheezing. When we took her to the doctor on Saturday they put her on steroids for 3 days, antibiotic for the strep, decongestant for the drainage, and the nebulizer breathing treatments with xopenex 3-4 times a day (the drs put her off and on the nebulizer for...

Treatment for Allergies and Mild Asthma

Hello Everyone. I really need some advice on what to do for my 6 year old son. First a little background: he was born with severe acid reflux and was on Zantac syrup for 3 years; then at age 4, he was tested for allergies (in which he is mostly allergic to grass, pollens, and trees) and put on Zyrtec. After a while, the Zyrtec stopped working and his allergies got worse. At age 5, he starting getting allergy shots (he still gets them every 2 weeks). At age 6, after a bout with pneumonia, we found out he has mild asthma. September...
