Looking for Position in MDO or Preschool

Dallas, TX

Hello Mamas: I am looking to return working outside the home, however I specifically want part-time. I am an experienced educator, so I am really wanting to get into working with children again. Ideally, I would find something part-time working with preschoolers in an environment that would allow me to bring my two children. Any contacts are GREATLY appreciated. I live in McKinney, but will currently consider any area within about 15 miles.

Well I am going back to work after 2 years of being home with my baby. He does go to preschool, but I am soo scared of putting him full time. What if he crys and they dont tell me? What if someone pushes him and he doesnt know how to talk yet? I am being a bad mother, is the way I see it. Any advice on moms who may have gone through this.

Tell a Perspective Employer I Am PG?

Denver, CO

I have been home with my son for over a year, I have been looking for a part-time job because we need the money. I am currently 7 weeks pregnant, should I tell a perspective employer during an upcoming interview? I know its illegal for them to not hire me because I am pregnant, but we all know it happens. During my last pregnancy I had to start wearing maternity clothes at 10 weeks, so I won't be able to hide it long.

Thinking About Going Back to Work- Am I a Bad Mommy?

Dallas, TX

We are getting ready to move, hopefully in the next few months. Once we get moved and settled I am considering going back to work PT. I have an opportunity to work 4-5 days per week, hours like 8:30 - 2. My oldest would be in school but I have to put my 3 yo in day care for those hours- She currently goes 9-2, 2 days per week. I feel kind of bad about wanting to work again. Its not for the money- so that is not an issue. I am just getting to a point where I need more outside interaction with adults. Im kind of tired staying home all the time. My youngest loves going to school and does really well with a busy and structured day, so I dont think she would mind at all. I guess I feel bad thinking about working when I have the opportunity to be home. I stayed home with my first until she was 2-1/2 and then worked until I got PG with my second. I have been home ever since. Surely someone else has gone thru this decision? Thanks moms
