Business description (provided by the business owner):

We work with children from 6 weeks old up through and including 9 years of age. Parents (adult caregivers) participate with the child in our classes - one hour - for children under 3. Children over three participate in classes without the parents on the floor. Parents may stay and watch , or run short errands.

We have 3 hour drop off "camps" for potty-trained children. These occur in the Summer, Winter (between Christmas and New Years) and Spring (during the school Spring Break).

We also do Birthday parties.

I thought my two kids (girl 8, boy 6) were too old for My Gym camps. Signed them up for camps at the Y this summer. Pool, basketball, lots of activities. What could go wrong. Well, they hated Y camp. Every day was a struggle to get them to go. I signed them up for a single day at My Gym so they could see for themselves that it was too young foir them. They loved the My Gym camp. I signed them up for another day at My Gym camp and hung around at the beginning to see what they do. There were other 8 9 and 10 year olds there and they were all having fun. THe games were fun and supported the theme. I asked the Y for a refund, and they said no. Still, I am glad I found out that My Gym camp is appropriate even for older children.

I have been taking my children to My Gym since my oldest (who is now 5) was 6 months old. My children LOVE going to "gym"! The coaches are wonderful, caring, and fun. My kids are always excited to go to gym class or camp. I have seen an improvement (especially in my oldest son) in my childrens' confidence and coordination. With each new class or camp, my oldest has grown in his confidence in his ability to try new things and meet new people. It has been a great place for my younger son to expend his energy, have fun, and learn new skills at the same time. It has been a fabulous experience for our entire family and I am looking forward to signing my daughter up for class next.
