If it wasn't for Patrice, I don't think I would be breastfeeding right now. My baby lost almost 10% of his birth weight and was jaundiced and very lethargic. He was impossible to wake to nurse and had difficulty latching from the beginning and both of us spent most of our time crying and very frustrated. After a couple weeks of weight checks at the pedi's office, she recommended I speak to Patrice and we put a plan in place. The hospital had given me a nipple shield to use and I never thought I would have the confidence to nurse without it, but I did. Each week we evaluated the situation and every week I would tell myself, "Ok, I'll give it one more week and see how I feel at the end." I wanted to quit everyday! But each day it got easier and after a few weeks, we stopped supplementing with formula and now my baby is exclusively breastfed. I owe my entire success to Patrice. I would highly recommend her to anyone who is having difficulty.

I'm a first time mom and after my daughter was born we had no problem nursing in the hospital. Once we came home and my milk came in we had a different story. Everyone told me breastfeeding would hurt so I suffered waiting for it to get better. It never did. About 4 weeks and raw nipples later I finally called Patrice on my doctors recommendation. Within fifteen minutes of walking in my door she relieved an unbelievable amount of pain. She has been a wonderful resource ever since. Six months later I'm still nursing my daughter twice a day after thinking I would never be able to make it this long. I owe that all to Patrice. I would highly recommend her to anyone seeking help or just answers. Sooner rather than later.

I will never be able to thank Patrice enough for how how much she helped me when I was a first time mom trying to nurse my newborn. I was having a terrible time, my baby lost weight, and got jaundiced. Then my pediatrician recommended I contact Patrice. I was feeling completely incompetent and very guilty for the baby having lost weight. Patrice saved us. She not only made me feel better about what I was going through, but she helped me figure out how to nurse the baby. Patrice is a very kind, warm, and reassuring person and that was exactly what I needed at the time, along with her expertise in breastfeeding. She was so supportive of me and the baby and our needs. I so benefited from her knowledge and care, that I made sure to contact her before having my second son just to feel reassured that I knew what I was doing the second time around and also to have the support in place should I have needed it, which I did. And Patrice was again the best! THANK YOU!!!

After the problems that I had breastfeeding my first child, I knew I needed Patrice's assistance when my second would not latch on. She came to my hospital room on short notice, then again two days later at my home, and by that evening, we were successfully breastfeeding. Patrice continued to support us for a few months afterward when I still had issues. My son is still breastfeeding and he's 15 months old. If I hadn't met Patrice, he probably would not have been breastfed at all. Patrice is kind and encouraging and I wish I had known her when I was trying to breastfeed my first. She deserves more than five stars.

Patrice is amazing! I would actually give her 6 stars! As a new mom, first time nursing, I had no idea what to expect....I just assumed I would nurse and it would be wonderful. Well....we did have our problems and Patrice was sensitive, supportive, friendly and of course helpful! She is always there to answer a quick call or email and has helped me to continue nursing for 14 mo now! Thanks again Patrice!!!!!
