I sent both of my children here starting at 18 months and it was the perfect entre for them into schooling. Freetown Friends is a fun, loving environment where your child will grow and flourish.

Freetown Friends is an amazing preschool for young children. My son loved going there. There are lots of stimulating toys to play with inside and out. The outdoor play area is expansive, clean and well maintained and has lots of options from the climb on toys to slides, swings and sand box. There are lots of fun activities always planned and we loved the originality of the arts and crafts projects.
The personal attention that Shelley and her assistants provides to the children is nurturing and individual. I always felt that my son was well cared for when I left him. I highly recommend Freetown Friends to anyone looking for a safe, fun, clean preschool for their child.

My 3 year old just finished two years at Freetown and my 21 month old is begining her first year - we are very happy with Miss Shelley and her program. I am constantly told that my 3 year old seems "ahead of the game" and while I would like to take full credit for that, I must share credit with Miss Shelley and her cohort Miss Jen. I highly recommend Freetown Friends to anyone who is considering sending their child. I will admit to being a bit tentative when I heard it was run out of someone's home, but that fear evaporated two minutes after my first visit. It's a fabulous place to send your toddlers.

We love Miss Shelley and her school! My son still talks about it, even though he hasn't gone there in over a year. What a wonderful first experience away from mom - totally nurturing, loving, and comfortable.

My 22 month old son went to freetown friends only for the summer camp and loved it! I only wish I had known about this place earlier. If we had not moved out of the area, I would have absolutely continued it. I could already see changes in my son's vocabulary and activities in the short time that he spent there. Ms. Shelley is just wonderful with kids.

My daughter went to Freetown Friends School for a year. We loved it there and didn't want to leave but need more hours. Till this day (almost 4 years ago) my daughter still asks about Miss Shelley.
Miss Shelley are the best! they take care care of the kids, help with the putty training, work on numbers and letters, and most of all the kids love it! I will recommend it to anyone! This is a great, safe place to send your kids.

First of all, this is one of the few pre-schools I have found to specialize in kids of this age. Shelley really knows and loves young children and does a fabulous job with them. Both of my daughters attended FF and they came home with wonderful songs to share and taught me about things like aphids. My kids are now in traditional pre-school, and the art projects they brought home from FF were much more creative and they did something wonderful EVERY day. Over a year later, my kids still ask me when they can go back to Miss Shelley's. I can't express what a huge fan we are of FF and I have recommended it to all of my friends! We drive 30 minutes in traffic to get there and it was still worth it.

My daughter attended Freetown Friends from the time she was 19 months to 3 years. I honestly can credit her love for learning to the experience she had with Shelley at her school. It was such a positive experience. The small class size and personal attention was amazing!

My oldest son attended Miss Shelley's school for over 2 years and he flourished there! It is a wonderful place, and Miss Shelley is fantastic with the kids. He learned so much and loved it. We would recommend her school to anyone who is looking for a fun, play-based learning environment for their child. I cannot say enough great things about Miss Shelley and Freetown Friends.

We love Freetown Friends & Ms. Shelley!! My 2 & 1/2 year old has been with Shelley 3 mornings a week since last August, and we're so glad to have such a loving, safe, and creative enviornment for her first preschool experience. We've seen huge changes in our daughter over this year, in no small part due to the activities and love she's receiving. Some days I have to fight to get her to leave :) I've known Shelley for over 4 years now and you couldn't trust your children to a better person or more qualified home daycare!

This is going to be my son's second year at Freetown Friends and we could not be happier. Shelley is very sweet and caring. My son loves her and talks about his teacher all the time.
The school is small, very child friendly, safe, and has a fantastic playground. Freetown is a home away from home!

I feel so lucky to have found Miss Shelley's Freetown Friends School. It has been such a wonderful experience for both my son and our family. My son started when he was 20 months and this was his first school experience. I was really nervous how he was going to adjust because when he started he was very shy. He has been going to Miss Shelley's now for almost a year and he has really blossomed and is now so outgoing and well adjusted. He has developed such great friendships at the school and we are so sad that he is about to outgrow the school. Shelley has been amazing with my son and you can really tell she cares about each one of her kids and their needs. Shelley has such a great combination of organization, friendliness, fun and enthusiasm that children are just drawn to her. You couldn't ask for a better teacher and school for your child at such an important age of development.

Shelley's Freetown Friends School is a gem. My daughter loves it so much that she begs to stay at the optional lunch bunch every day that she attends! The school is homey, educational and fun. The caregivers are nurturing, loving and caring. Shelley herself is professional and as accommodating and flexible as she can be. I've yet to see a child not thrive at Freetown Friends School. I cannot recommend Shelley and the School highly enough!

You can't go wrong sending your child to Miss Shelley's warm, nurturing, fun preschool. My daughter is now eight and still has so many happy memories from being there. She adjusted beautifully to Freetown. It's pleasant, safe, and has just the right amount of structure for the kids.
