As a Labor Support Professional, I help you stay healthy and comfortable during your pregnancy and plan for your birth. I stay with you During your entire labor and a few hours postpartum helping you make keep your labor going as quikly and smoothly as possible. I also have breastfeeding training and will offer advice there, if needed. I work with birth partners, making sure they are included as much or as little as they choose. I work with hospital or home births, natural or medicated. My job is to ensure the family gets the birth they want and to be supportive in this special time in their life. Whitney is the best to have around during such an important and intimate time! She was an AWESOME helped to me during my pregnancy and labor. I don't know what I would have done without her...probably not have had the amazing birthing experience that I had because of her. I had the birth that I wanted in every way!!! Doulas are the way to go and I feel Whitney is the cream of the crop!
Whitney was terrific both before, during and after the birth -- especially given the labor didn't go as planned due to a mixup at the hospital. It was very reassuring to have her help, and we loved working with her because she really listens to what YOU want as opposed to trying to talk her clients into having a certain type of birthplan. When she works with you, she makes herself available 24/7 and I called her a few times when I went into false labor and it was terrific to have her around as a resource. She also has a great sense of humor and made me feel very at ease. We'd highly recommend her!
