Your Experience with JuicePlus+

I went to a "wellness talk" with an acquaintance last night. It ultimately ended up being a gentle sales pitch for JuicePlus+. The product sounds great as a supplement (not a replacement) for getting nutrients our body needs from fruits and vegetables. Good for those who struggle to get it all in through food choices. I plan to study up on the product myself, but thought I'd ask the Mama World what your experiences have been?

I'm not interested in selling it--just wonder if it's something worth taking.

Whatcha got?

Thanks!!

What can I do next?

BEWARE..... it is a MLM scheme. You had a "gentle" sales pitch and now you will be bombarded and the sales pitch willl get stronger and pushier.

If you do choose to get into a MLM, make sure you do your homework and read ALL the fine print. You will be investing and expected to have parties and then high pressure sales and recruiting.

We run for the hills when we get the invites for any MLM scheme. Bottom line, this is a money making machine and that is their priority.... not you. They will do their best to recruit you then you do all the work for the person who signed you up.... hence MLM/pyramid.

Just my 2 cents and my thoughts on MLM's. They prey on people who do not understand how they work and then hook them.

Juice Plus is a pretty good supplement, but it's expensive for what you get. JuiceFestiv (which is sold at Costco and Amazon) is about the same for 1/4 of the price.

We've been taking it for years. I get the gummies for the kids and the capsules for myself and DH. I know it's crazy, but I do think it has cut down on the amount of mild illnesses in our family. My kids are rarely sick, despite the outbreaks that happen in their classrooms! It is expensive, and sometimes I have to notify them to stop the auto-shipment for a period as we don't go through them as fast as they seem to think we will, but I feel that it is worth it for my family.

Personally, I don't trust MLM schemes, especially where things that go in my body are concerned. They are all about making money, usually for the higher ups, and they tend to lead women to alienate their friends with their pitches. Just my opinion -- I'd never buy it.

Me too - have 2 networking friends who sell it - who has used it?

Just to clarify on an answer below - MLM and pyramid are NOT the same thing. Multi level marketing is based on a product(s) and a pyramid is based on recruiting

Good question - I had the same question this month! With my mom having a masectomy and it being breast cancer awareness month - I am worried about my antioxidant intake and wondered if Juice Plus would give me all the good stuff I need (on those days I don't eat quite right).

So ... no answer for ya. I hope you get some good feedback! I will check back to see. Bottom line - maybe try one or two products and see how you feel. Pushy salesman? Just don't answer the call if you see they're calling. They'll eventually get the hint and stop wasting their time. I also saw a booth recently at a little community fair. Maybe you can buy a product to try and NOT give them your name and number. Tell them "I'll call you if I want more."

I would buy it if it weren't so expensive. I really liked the product! We used it when our son was little. My only bad experience was the super agressive distributor that ruined our friendship by badgering me to buy. :(
