Hi moms!
This is a stupid question but I'm going nuts trying to figure it out so maybe someone here can help me.
Last week I sent Miss X and Mr Y an email with an attachment. Mr. Y quickly responded asking me ONLY to resend WITH attachment. so I resent the original email to Both people saying "this time with the attachment" (attached the file) and resent. I got an email from Miss X today who only received the first email asking for the attachment. I've tried forwarding my email to her with the attachment so she knows I resent it on that day. But my forward to her is only showing the original email and not the second one. Basically neither the attachment nor the content of the second email are being forwarded even though it's right there and I can see it before hitting forward!!! I just don't get it! What am I doing wrong? Please help!!

What can I do next?

I don't think you are doing anything wrong. I don't think they know how to open the attachment. Send again to yourself only and see if the attachment is there when you open the email. If it is them resend to both with instructions on how to open it.

I have had the same issue at times with yahoo. My only suggestion-I Bcc myself so then I can see the email that the others received. Most of the time, it's in a different location to click on the attachment. Also I have noticed that if there is more than one correspondence, in the mail inbox it looks like one email but when you click on it, then the rest of the responses show up.

I used to get the same message from my mom. Every time I sent her an attachment she would say she didn't get it.Then I checked her yahoo account and the attachment was there. She just didn't know where to click on it. Maybe Miss X and Mr Y have the same problem.

When I have trouble sending email I've had no luck figuring why. It can be a glitch caused by a combination of factors. I just start over being careful as I do each step.

I have found that sometimes when I'm forwarding messages that I have to check that all the addresses are on the new message.

Mr x got the whole thing so just forward that message to Ms. Y.

I have gmail but I think most if not all emails work a similar way.

I have used yahoo for years and it's okay. I do more gmail now though.

I'd break it up and send each one their own brand new email. Then if one works the other one isn't getting a ton of back and forth emails when the other one isn't getting them.

You can go to yahoo help to see if there is something they can suggest.
