Working from home can be great (I did it for years). The best advice I can give you is to take what you already know (your current work experience) and try to utilize that. Working from home is becoming very common in more and more lines of work.

I just want to share with you however - just because you work from home, you will still require daycare, unless your children are old enough to be on their own inside your house and respect your need for quiet and non-interruption. The nice thing is, you don't have to put them in daycare for such long hours because you have no commute time.

There are many work from home opportunities out there. I've started a couple recently myself. If you are driven and determined, it can really pay off. Many of them require a bit more effort in the beginning to get started, but it is worth it in the end.
