I know you've gotten posts about what it might be, but I wanted to offer where to go. If you find a CVS that has the Care Now clinic, it will be more cost efficient than going to a doctor or ER. You can go to the CVS website and find one. I hope you get it taken care of soon!

You can go to Walgreens for a UTI and other things that are bothering you.
I don't have health ins either, whenever I have to see a doctor I go there.

Best of luck!

It sounds like you have a urinary tract infection. Over the counter you can purchase products by AZO. They are great at easing the pain. Drink a lot of cranberry juice and water, cut out tea, coffee, and sodas. Avoid acidic foods like tomatoes and spicy food. That being said a UTI can easily turn into a kidney infection so be very careful because that is serious. Good luck.

This sounds very much like a urinary tract infection (uti). They are serious and if untreated can lead to kidney failure! If you are determined to try something at home first, go to a health food store and buy a supplement called D-mannose. This is a type of sugar that binds with e.coli bacteria and flushes them out of your body. Something like 90% of uti's are caused by E.Coli. If you do this and don't have almost 100% relief in 24 hours, though, you need to go to the doctor or an emergency clinic.

Could possibly be a urinary track infection. Drink tons of water. Cranberry juice is also good. Avoid any type of citrus juice.

Do you have a fever? If it's low grade, not to worry too much. If it's over 100, you need to see a doctor. Also, if your not feeling better in 2 days, please go to a doctor as it could be something serious. There should be some type of clinic in your area, or call your local health dept.

If you have radiating pain from your ovaries to your lower back, you really need to see a doctor - right away. It could be any number of things, but addressing it now will be more affordable than having take more drastic measures later. I don't want to alram you, but it could be anything from endometriosis to ovarian cancer. If treated quickly, you have an excellent chance of full recovery. The burning sensation you feel when you pee is most likely a urinary tract infection (but is also a symptom of endometriosis & ovarian cancer). If it's only a urinary tract infection, drink a lot of cranberry juice to alleviate the pain and the problem. Please see a doctor soon.

Sounds like a urinary tract infection. This is caused by bacteria traveling up through your urethra. Unfortunately, you will have to be seen, because it can progress into a bladder infection which is a can of worms I'm sure. There is a medication called Uristat, available at walmart, but it does nothing to clear up the infection. It just takes care of the pain. You have to go to the doctor. This could turn into something very serious.

have you looked at yourself with a mirror to see if you have some type of scratch or abrasion? if you do, that could be the reason it stings when your urinate. is the pain on the inside or outside of your body?

could be a UTI, but your main symptom would typically be frequent urination. try drinking ONLY water and cranberry juice(not cran juice cocktail - that's not much actual juice), get some AZO standard from the store, and give it a day or two. if it gets worse, your start feeling flu like or running a high fever, you need to find a way to get to a dr - infections can be deadly when left untreated - don't let yourself get into a life threatening situation over $100, go to an ER if all else fails, get yourself cared for and worry about the money later.

at first symptoms and throughout a UTI (a yeast infection can cause the burning when peeing as well) you should pump the cranberry juice/pills (cranactin or super cranactin @ whole foods etc) acidophilus, and echinacea/goldenseal - these all boost your natural immune system and prevent the bacteria from adhering to the walls of your bladder - if the pain is bad enough the infection is too great you will need antibiotics or this could become kidneys - bad deal.
AZO does help with the discomfort - but only the pain it will not clear up any infection.

Hi honeybaby,

note: sorry, I just saw the edit on your symptoms, I would get to the er if your lower back is hurting, that sounds more like a kidney infection. I'm not a doctor so I don't know for certain what you exactly have but I would say get to the er to be safe. I'll pray that everything goes ok, hugs!

Since I get Urinary Tract Infections & Kidney Infections so much what I do is go to the store and for $10 you can by AZO test stripes to determine if you have an infection, it cant tell you if it's a uti or kidney infection, if it comes back abnormal then you know it's one of the two. If these are the only 2 symptoms then I would say it might be more of a uti. If you have a kidney infection your lower back side would be hurting(like a stabbing knife feeling), you would be running high fever, your body aches, nausea and chills, feels very similar to the flu. If you start feeling this way you have no other choice but to go to the ER, it can be deadly. A UTI, will cause burning, sometimes pain while voiding, burning while voiding, it can hurt down there, abdoman can hurt, a temp that is 100 or lower....sometimes you can have one or all symptoms. What you could do in that case is drink lots of cranberry juice for about a week(the more percentage of cranberry in the juice the better, look on the back of bottle to see). It can help make a uti go away as well as relieve the pain and burning that you experience while voiding. Drink water to flush out kidneys and bladder, no sodas, cut sugar and acidic foods. Azo does have over the counter pills that will also help make it go away. If you tried and it hasn't gone away or it gets worse you will have to get to a doctor or er where they prescribe antibiotics. Hopefully it will be something easy for you to treat and not something else. There is always a chance that it might be something not mentioned but at least you can start off trying something to see if it helps. I hope this helps and hope that you can start feeling better soon sweetie.

You need to goto a doctor immediatly before it gets any worse! That sounds like a kidney infection. I had a UTI and let it go and it started hurting in my lower back then started having a fever and not keeping anything down. I was young and didnt know what to do so my boyfriend at the time took me to the ER. Found out my potasium was dangerously low and also had severe kidney infection. You need antibiotics now! Goto the ER or a Womens clinic around you maybe that takes patients for low cost and they can't refuse you and they will write you a zpac perscription which I think at walmart are only like $3 now. Sometimes doctors have samples too they can give out. Good luck!

I just read your prior post. You stated you & your husband are trying to have a baby. This post stated you are having additional medical concerns but no insurance. How were you expecting to pay for the medical to have a baby? I am going to point out that we pay a heavy insurance premium each month for medical insurance & we do not have an employer to pick up part of the cost. I know I am not answering your medical concerns (I do wish the best for you & that everything is OK) but we suffer through paying for insurance and do not attempt more children because our insurance does not cover pregnancy/child birth.

Doesn't sound good. Could be anything from a cist that opened, a new herpes infection, std, cancer. Maybe the county health department can help? Do you see any lesions (use a mirror). Do you have any fever? For $15, you could also try "Just Answers" on the web, speak to a doctor on line, and see his best recommendations. But do those checks first so you know all the symptoms. It's not very clear when you say "...right side where my female parts are" as I tend to think of them in the middle of your body.
