Window Replacement Companies

I'm considering getting my windows replaced. They are 10-year builder grade and leak quite a bit. Can never get the rooms cool in the summer or warm in the winter. With the tax credit offer thought now is as good a time as any. I know what TYPE of windows qualify/work best, but don't know any companies I can trust. Has anyone gotten bids recently or had windows replaced? Who did you use?

I know Jeff Kincade of Windura ###-###-####) personally, as our daughters played soccer and ran cross country together. I also know someone for whom he's done window replacement. He's very trustworthy and I'd definitely recommend him to anyone. He has a good work ethic and cares about people. I have no idea what he charges, or how it compares to other companies, but I'd recommend his honesty to anyone.

I just had my windows replaced and I went with Pella. My husband and I had 5 different companies quote us and Pella was by far the most reasonable. Our new windows are great and Pella's price was $1500 cheaper than the other companies and they qualified for the tax credit.

Hi J.!! Try Kevin Moxley with Moxley Home Remodeling & Repair. He's been doing remodeling/windows/tile work/etc for more than 15 years. He has a degree in engineering and also his Class A contractor's license in KS which means he can work on commercial or residential jobs. He is friendly, reliable, fairly inexpensive and does a great job! My friend used him and he ended up having leftover "parts" on a job and gave her the money back-- everyone else I've ever hired would've just kept it and filled their pockets!!

Also, he is a rep for Pella Windows (and other window companies) and can get them usually discounted even lower than places like home depot :)

Give him a call (his cell) for a free estimate: ###-###-#### -- you will not regret it!

J.,
Hi! We used Windura, too, and they did an excellent job for a very reasonable price.
