Hi T.,

I want to piggy-back on your request. I purchased a Wii for my family for Christmas. I did not have any trouble finding it. It comes with a bunch of games like bowling and golf and I am planning to buy one additional kid centered game...like a Mario game. My question is about the controllers. Do I need to purchase additional controllers for a family of 4? I noticed that there are 2 kinds, whick kind will I need?
T., hopefully we will both get the help we need from the moms out there.

Happy holidays!
N.

I have Wii and my family absolutely loves it. Wii is available now, seen a lot of them on black friday. Me, my hubby, 9 yr old daughter and 4 yr old son play together. Its easy for the lil guys to join in and not just sit there. They have educational games and exercise games. Its always fun to play with a group of adults as well.

Hello T. I'm a 27 year old mother who has two girls ages 3 months & 7 years old. We love the Wii entertainment system it comes with a couple of games on it which are really fun like boxing, swimming, tennis, bowling, baseball. I think the Wii sports is fun for the whole family if you wanna look in to that. If you call around the store you should be able to get one try Game Stop or Toys R US.

P.S. Congrats on being married for 12 years.

HI,

I bought a wii earlier this year and believe me, it wasnt easy to find. I had to call around to stores and try and get their delivery days and just try and call early that day before anyone else did. I ended up getting one at game stop. I have a 6 yr old son and he loves it. It is easy to play and it helps with his hand eye coordination. Plus, even my friends like it. We have game nights were a bunch of us get together and play for hours (and I am not into games like this, but the wii is different). There are lost of games out there that arent really your average games that you find for playstation/nintendo/ect. I like the games like baseball/pool/golf, they even have a mario type olympics. I think its great for kids and adults alike. Just do yourself a favor and call the places in advance. Dont expect to just go get one.

Good luck!

My husband just bought a Wii for my kids (and himself) for Christmas on Black Friday from Walmart. We got the basic set that comes with a couple games (sports) for about $248. You should try to look online or at stores right now, they are a HOT item! I heard the Wii Fit is really great. Check out your Walmart, Target, Best Buy, etc. Someone has got to have them!
