Ok so my LMP was Aug 22nd. I started using OPK about day 13 of cycle. Got my FIRST POSITIVE on CD 15 then it went back to negative like it usually does. I've tested off and on since and I'm now on CD 27 and got another positive! What the heck? Oh I should mention that I was on clomid for three cycles but didn't take it last month and with the clomid my cycles got shorter and last cycle on clomid was 29 days. I usually spot for 2 days before a period. If my period is due on Wed (being a 28 day cycle) I should have started spotting by now. If not due til Saturday then I won't spot til Thur. I really don't know what's going on and need to know if I need to get busy again soon :) Has this happened to anyone, or any idea why it's happening? TIA!!!

What can I do next?

I got my BFP last week!!! Can't believe it and am still in shock. Thanks ladies! Can't believe it's actually true that an OPK will turn positive if pregnant. Now just gotta wait 2 1/2 weeks before my first Dr appt Ugh so hard to wait!

I read online that if you're pregnant an OPK will turn positive also. I'm a lil confused on all your dates but if I read correctly, then maybe that's why you're getting a positive? I tried it just for fun because I had one last ovulation test left after I found out I was pregnant and sure enough it turned positive.
If you conceived on CD 15 then it is possible to get a positive by now considering its been about 11 days. I'd take a pregnancy test and see if that's the reason for the positive OPK.

Like the others said, it can show up as positive for ovulation if you are pregnant but you might as well have sex. Make hay while the sun shines, right?

It is possible that you are pregnant, see the link below and look in the "Warning" section. I would take a preg test if you have one (best to do in the morning), if neg I would retest in a few days. I am betting it will be positive. Let us know! Best of luck!

You could be pregnant (but usually you need to be further along for an OPK to register as positive for pregnancy hormone).

I had one wonky cycle where I got a positive OPK on days 20 and 21. However, I never O'd. I was temping so I know I didn't O. Went on to have another positive OPK on day 40 something, and actyally ovulated that time. Although it's not an extremely common occurrence, your body can gear up to ovulate and then not.

If it is a true opk positive.....test line darker than control...it means you are pregnant. See www.peeonastick.com
