Congratulations on your new addition to your already wonderful life.

Central Market is a great place for fresh seafood. There is one located on Coit Road right off the George Bush Tollway (NE Corner). There is also one in Dallas off of Lover's Lane, but I have never been to that one but I am sure its just as wonderful.

They have a great selections of all fresh meats, vegetables, cheeses, desserts ...etc. Its definitely worth a trip.

Best of Luck to you ...

Central Market nearest to you is at Greenville and Lover's Lane in Dallas. Take I30 west to I75 and go north. Exit Lover's Lane and turn right. You will cross Greenville Ave almost immediately and will see Central Market on your right. Sorry I don't know of anywhere closer. In case you want to call them to check they have exactly what you need, their number is ###-###-####.

Good luck,

Hi there,
Definately shop at Central Market. I used to manage the Cheese & Deli Department at the Plano store on Coit at Franklin in Plano.
They have hands down the freshest fish you can buy in Dallas. I don't know if they have opened a store in the areas you mentioned, but their second store is on Lovers Lane just east of Central Expressway. The fish is flown in fresh daily.
Good luck, and Happy Valentine's Day!

I agree that Central Market is your best bet for fresh ingredients although it is a pretty expensive grocery store.
320 Coit Road in Plano

It's at the north east corner of Coit and 190 (George Bush Turnpike-don't forget it's a toll road) about half way between the Tollway and Central Expressway (75).

You can even call them before you go to ask about your specific ingredients. They're very customer-focused. ###-###-####. Definitely a good idea with a new baby who's probably keeping your schedule busy!

Also dont be afraid to try your local Tom Thumb - I particularly like the one on Arapaho in Garland. Happy cooking!

I get Lobster from Costco, but I've never purchased Haddock there. Look on line to see if they have the Haddock. You can make the bisque yourself from the broth after cooking the lobster. Emerald has great recipes and there are others on the food network.

You can probably get most or all of what you need at Central Market. I usually go to the Plano location, Coit and 190, but there is also one on Lover's Lane East of 75 near Greenville (never been to that one, just know it's there)
