I know I am a little late, but try Maries Catering. I am a previous Corky's client, and Maries is so much better! I don't have the # off hand, but it is in Woodridge on 75th street, inside Ashton Place.
Good luck!
I am throwing a party and you are all invited! Just kidding but I do need a little help from all of you experienced party planners. My hubby's 30th birthday is coming up and I am planning a surprise party for him. I would like to have some food catered, nothing fancy, just to get people fed. I am looking for cheap but large quantity. I will be 36 weeks pregnant so I want this to be as easy on me as possible so free delivery might be nice too! If anyone knows of any local places to Bolingbrook or surrounding area please let me know. Thanks in advance everyone. Your suggestions are appreciated!

I had them cater my daughters wedding open house. The food was fabulous and very inexpensive. They came in set-up. At the end of the party all i did was put the containers in the trash. Absolutely the best party i have ever given.
Use my name when you call them, tell them I promised you a special deal.

This is not around the corner but they deliver, its inexpensive and very very friendly. They will work around what ever you want, make a package, pick one of their packages, or just order by the tray. Its well worth it. Its Dannys cafe and deli in Melrose Park. www.dannyscafeanddeli.com Its my family and its very good. I am not just saying that because it is my family, I think its one of the best around. Home cooking for resonable prices. Tell them their niece C. Petras sent you if you do call.
Good luck with the party
Another idea if you didnt want to use them is Jimmy Johns.

I just threw my mom a 60th biday party in june. It was a suprise too! Anyway, look up Corky's. They are super cheap but very good. They deliver anywhere in the chicagoland area. They bring the food hot and in nice pans. You get the plates and utensils and the whole sha-bang. They have a website. I got a free sheet cake because that was on special the month of the party. This wasn't the first time I'd used them or had it at a party I attended. Very good. Let me know how it turns out!
Corkys Catering is good. We used them for my sons birthday and will be using them again this year.
They deliver for a small price, but worth it so you dont have to worry about it.
Good Luck!
You need to find a friend or neighbor with a costco or sams club card. They both sell large quantity food trays and very affordable.
Yes - I've used Brown's Chicken before, and that's good.
Also, Cozzi Corner, which I think is in Downers Grove. They delivered out to my house, which is west of Fox Valley Mall, so I'd think they'd go to Bolingbrook. Good chicken & beef & mac n cheese.
Good luck.
Portillo's (or Barnelli's) is really nice. I use them pretty often. Everyone loves their chopped salad, pasta is easy for kids, beef sandwiches are hearty. It pretty much covers all tastes and it's quite reasonable.
Hope this helps!
I'm sure you've already thought of this, but just in case - you could always go with Portillo's. They have great, CHEAP catering! We usually go with a mix of beef sandwiches, pasta, salad & they have that awesome chocolate cake. The best thing about the beef is that you can set it up in your crock pot earlier in the day & then it's one less thing to have to think about when you're getting ready to serve everybody. Good luck & have fun!
Hi A.,
I just had a Birthday(for my 2 year old)/Graduation Party(for my 14 year old)at my house for 75 people and I got my food at Wal-Mart. I know they don't deliver, but if you could get one of your friends to come along and do the lifting for you, it would be a winner. I priced sandwiches at Jewel, Quizno's, Jimmy John's and Subway and Wal-Mart beat their prices hands down. I also ordered Chicken Tenders (they cook them for you!) and I know they have fried chicken deals. You can also get your cake there, chips, dips and other sides there. Just a suggestion for something cheap and good!
Have a successful party!

Hi A... Don't laugh, but my neighbor just had a birthday party for her one-year-old and had it catered by Katherine's Katering which is actually Doggie Diner in Bolingbrook. The food was so good I did the same for my party. It was super cheap and really good. Everyone complimented me on the food.
Check with your local high school to see if they have a culinary program that does catering. Many of them do (Minooka, Lincoln Way for example).
www.cateringwithelegance.com I have used them for my toddler's birthday parties several times, my mom's surprise birthday party, and a retirement party. Although at first glance on the website you'll assume they only do fancy things like weddings, they do a GREAT broasted chicken (there are other choices...that's just what I got) with a few side salads for backyard or indoor parties. They are TERRIFIC!

Cuomo Catering has fantastic food at a great price and there are always leftovers because they give you sooo much. Check out their website at cuomocatering.com We have used them for just about every party.
Also, my friend used Browns Chicken for a party she had last weekend and it was really good. She also said they were reasonable. Check out their web for prices.
Hope the party goes well! Have fun!
I have to agree with a couple other people, we have used super walmart a couple times, their fried chicken is really good and you can have them make you sides as well. Good luck with your party.

I just celebrated my husband's 40th birthday and it wasn't too expensive. I had gotten a coupon from Brown's chicken and that was a favorite of adults as well as kids. Plus I also made a mostacolli dish on the side and a few friends brought food too. I had bagged salad, chips, cake & ice cream and some fruit too as well as different sodas (we don't drink and most of our friends don't either). He was surprised and had fun at the same time!
Also, another catering place is Corky's. I have dealt with them in the past and they do deliver! good luck and let us know how it works out:)

Try Sweet Tomatoes. I don't know if there is one near Bolingbrook, but I know you can get a lot of food, free set up, and drinks for about $10 per person. I know they also do free delivery within a certain range.
Good Luck!
do you have a superwalmart near you?
they have great catering cheap
and i am sure you can find a faithful friend to pick it up for you

Brown's Chicken has really tasty food at a very affordable price for catering. I used them for my daughter's first birthday and for my niece's baby shower. Check on line as only certain locations offer the catering. They include all the plates, napkins & utensils. Good Luck.
