I am having a hard time finding extra long twin sheets for my daughter's new big girl bed. I have checked most of the main stores and have only found a few sets. I am wondering if anyone knows of any good stores or websites for extra long twin sheet sets. I am bummed that I can't buy her the cute little kid sheet sets! Any help would be much appreciated!

What can I do next?

So What Happened?

Thanks so much for all the input! I have looked some online now and have found more options when I have typed in "dorm sheets". Tommy Hilfiger has some cute patterned sheets. I will have to keep my eye open in August when all the back to school stuff comes out. Thanks again!

Target or Bed, Bath & Beyond both carry extra-long twin sheets. I know in the spring & summer it's almost all you can find because that's the size of a standard dorm-room bed & all of the kids getting ready to go off to college for the first time need this size.

I agree...Target sells the college XL twin sheets for college kids and they have them in the summer. But try online like amazon or even craigslist.

Try TJmaxx or Ross. They are great for stuff like that cause they always have the stuff that is kinda irregular or the stuff that aren't as common so stores can't sell them all. I used to work at a Ross when I was in college and yeah we always had the extra long sheets, oversized sheets etc. So go there I bet you'll find them.

Look online before you shop - it'll save you time and gas. Target has had XL twin sheets (also called dorm sheets), I know. Look at J.C. Penney's, too, and Sears. If you can't get kid sheet sets, get her a cute bedspread and pillows, and coordinate the sheets to match! If you buy two sets, you could mix the colors, too.

You could also do a search online for "dorm sheet sets." Extra-long twin is the standard dorm bed size, so a lot of places market the sheet sets that way. I don't think you'll find cute little kid options, though, but perhaps you could get her a pillow case in a cute design.

Try Googling "big and tall" with your zip code.
Try going to website of BED BATH & BEYOND or ANNA'S LINENS
and put TALL into the search window.
Good luck.

Bed, Bath and Beyond definitely has them on their website. When I went to college I actually got a matching set with my bedding from JCPenney and it was cute and girly (pink and orange and green stripes). They are hard to find in store unless it is summer time and the stores stock for college stuff, but you can always find them online

I always see them at target or bb&b.

I get ours at Target and Bed Bath and Beyond. You can usually find the best deals in Aug. since most dorms have extra long twin beds in them.

Are you talking the extra long size one buy's for college length dorm beds? Since you are from the Saint Paul area, most college towns stock the extra length sheets for those dorm beds. All bed, bath, home and target stores carry them usually.

Or are you talking a regular twin bed and you're disappointed about not finding cute little kid sets that you would normally put on a crib size mattress in the proper length for a standard twin? You don't need extra long twin sheets for a standard twin bed. Any size twin will work. Then decorate with your little kid theme, as in pillows, quilts, etc.
