Congrats on new baby! I know motherhood sells them. i don't ever wear them although they do look like a good idea. I just wear my normal clothes and wear a BeBand from target under it. Its in the maternity section. Its like a tube top for your belly, so when you lift up your shirt to BF know one sees your back or stomach, looks like you are wearing another shirt under it. I also using a nursing cover when in public. Good luck!

I think they run a tad big-though I was told the opposite.

i just used stretchy tank tops under a roomy shirt, pull the neck of the tank down under your breast, lift the shirt up, everything, including your belly, stays covered.

Majamas brand carries some nice ones. I have a couple shirts and 3 pairs of their pj's and LOVE them! I actually have their EZ Nursing bra too. I will never go back to a "regular" nursing bra again!

Plus they have free shipping if you spend $49 or more and free returns!

Addition: I forgot to add that I rarely wear my nursing shirts anymore. I usually only wear the actual shirts when the baby is a newborn. I now wear a stretchy tanktop/camisole under my normal shirts. All of my tops are a little loose or at least stretchy. So I just lift my top shirt and my stomach is still covered! Works GREAT! I nurse anywhere!

I would recommend roomy regular shirts, and nursing camisols - they're nice cause they cover your stomach when you nurse so you don't feel like your half naked when the baby nurses. I don't remember buying specific nursing tops, just regular tops that were convenient to nurse in. And I got a nursing cover - a "hooter hider" I think it was called.

Motherhood has some good ones and so does Kohl's. I never wore nursing tops though. I just wore my regular shirts. I figured the baby covered my belly and my back was usually blocked by the back of a chair. And if it wasn't...oh well :) I didn't much care if anyone wanted to look at my love handles ;)

Someone told me about the bands a previous poster mentioned. Those seem like a really good idea. I've also heard to buy tank tops (like men's undershirt ones) and cut the neck lower.

Congratulations on your new baby!

Wal-mart has nursing tank tops in white, black and gray. They are super comfy and not too expensive. I wear them under regular shirts, button down shirts and to bed with shorts! I also found some really comfy nursing bras at Wal-mart that I love way better than the one I got at Motherhood maternity! Motherhood Maternity has a few nursing shirts, but not a huge selection and nothing that I really loved.

Wearing a nursing tank/cami under a regular shirt is a good idea. Japanese Weekend has great nursing tops. They don't really look like nursing tops and they are very discreet. They are on the more expensive side, but so worth it! Motherhood and Old Navy also have pretty good ones that are definitely more affordable.

I loved Motherwear.com too. Their empire nursing shirts are the best. I highly recommend them!

DebR. knocked it outta the ball park..That is the easiest. Tank top under your knocker. You just wear it under your shirt or tank top. The nursing tops I did buy were always so freaking confusing. Especially if you got them tangled in the drier.
