Where Do You Get Your Little Ones Hair Cut?

my 2 year old is NOT a fan of having his hair trimmed. we used to go to a childrens salon in texas that was really good at keeping his mind off of what was going on with a television at each station. is there anything like that around her? or could you recommend a haircutter who is great with kids (and fast?) :)

thanks, K.

What can I do next?

That sounds like Cartoon Cuts in Columbia Mall and Annapolis Mall! The one in Columbia has some great (And FAST) Barbers. I've been getting my son's hair done there since his first, and they've most always done a great job. (Watch someone else get their kid's done first, to see how the person you want is doing. It tells you alot about what to expect.)

I have the same problem- I haven't found anyone good yet-so I'll be watching your responses!lol. I have, however, been considering buying a FlowBee-remember them? They still sell them online. I figure It'll pay for itself in a couple of cuts. Might be worth it for you since you have two boys and are prone to relocation because of the AF. You can just catch the 'good and cooperative' mood at anytime of the day without the stress of an appointment.

There is a Cartoon Cuts in Marley Station Mall in Glen Burnie. Don't know if Annapolis has a Cartoon Cuts but you could check the mall there.

I take both of my kids to the Cartoon Cuts in Columbia Mall and they will put on a cartoon of your childs choice and push lollipops. I have had some good and bad experiences there. Before you leave the store just check the job the stylist did on your childs hair and make sure you like it. Once they cut my sons bangs straight across like she used a bowl and last time the woman cut it diagonally and we didn't notice before we left because she styled his hair with kind of a bed head look. It was very noticable after we washed it though. Overall its a decent place with good prices for kids cuts.
