Where Can I Get a Great Haircut, near East Lake Woodlands, Oldsmar?

When I have re located from NYC to Tampa I have tested every salon in Tampa area. At the International mall I have noticed a lady with the same hair type as mine with such a great haircut. I just approached her and asked her about her stylist. She told me about "My's Beauty Salon" 7010 Sheldon Road, ###-###-####. I checked it out, it was a bit intimidated because it's not fancy or exclusive and there was no red wine. Super nice Asian couple, very clean and very skillful. The haircut was under $15 and I was super happy. I have paid over $100 per haircut in NYC of the same exact results. My husband called me during the appt. so I had to run home with my hair cut but wet. It seemed like I did not need a blow dryer to style it. This was what a great haircut suppose to be. They are open seven days a week. For better communication bring a good picture of the haircut you like. Avoid Saturdays and Sundays unless go super early. Good Luck! *I have never done color there. Edie's is right off Tampa Rd. and they are terrific! Excellent cut and color. Definitely request that Edie cut your hair. The salon is very busy on the weekends but they seem to alway be able to get you in right away. http://www.ediesstylingcenter.com/

I never could find a stylist I liked until I found Marilyn at Rare Accents in Palm Harbor. They'd be about 5 minutes from you. The number is ###-###-####. What I like about Marilyn is that if I am not sure what I want, she will suggest a bunch of things - and all her suggestions have worked out GREAT. But if I know exactly what I want, she will do that and not try something she wants to do instead. She charges $40 for a haircut/style. Considering I used to be a Hair Cuttery gal ($12 for a haircut), that is very expensive for me, but really worth it because my hair looks SO much better after she cuts it.

I really like La Mirage, it's off Tampa Rd, on the south side, right past Target. So it would be like 5 minutes for you. I go to Bobbie, but I know 2 others that go there that see different people and they love them too. Also, they have free haircuts on Tuesday morning, that the students in the advanced hair cutting class give. Apparently these students are about to graduate. I haven't tried them yet because mornings are tough for me. The number is ###-###-####.

While I'm kind of a cheapo and don't like spending big bucks on a haircut (I too go to My's on Sheldon Rd.), I would also recommend La Mirage if you are looking for something more high end. Their rates are better than most salon/spas I have called and they do a good job. I have Elena cut my hair when I go there. I'd say there are all pretty good though.
