Hi my name is M. I'm 3mo and 2w pregnant and my belly started to get bigger but I went to motherhood and try capris and pants on but they are too big for me, I need XS, or slim or I don't know. I wear size 3 all the time but They make too much pressure on my belly. Also I need cheap stuff I can't afford to spend too much. Thankyou

Walmart, Target, Goodwill, also check out garage sales, and resale shops.

I too was in the same situation. I found a few "yoga", exercise & lounge type pants & skirts at Target & Old navy. I was able to wear them throughout the entire pregnancy since the style and comfort level was just at, & below the belly. Even though I started at 99 lbs, I gained 50 lbs right before delivery! You just kind of have to look around and find that stretchy knit material and don't restrict yourself to the maternity section. I was so excited to find an alternative to maternity clothes and not pay the maternity prices.

I was 98 lbs when I got pregnant so I know EXACTLY what you are talking about. Motherhood Maternity is the IDEAL place for you. They are EXTREMELY affordable and you can find sizes that fit you.
A little suggestion. Wear dresses and stuff while you can. Because if you try to wear dresses when you are 8-9 months pregnant it doesnt look so good. GOOD LUCK!

Maternity clothes have changed a lot since I was last pregnant about 25 years ago, but my experience was that if I bought something that fit well early in my pregnancy, it didn't when I was very pregnant. I retained a lot of fluid when I was pregnant though, so I swelled a lot in my legs especially.

You can always get the next size up and put a few darts in them.

There was always a month there where the regular cloths didn't fit, but the maternity clothes, especially pants, were too baggy still. Dresses are good for this time.

Check out Old Navy. I was pregnant two summers ago and all i wore was Old Navy maternity.
PS don't buy anything online, go to the store and try it on!
Congrats on your new addition and good luck jean shopping!

Go to Motherhood and Maternity and buy the belly band! They have them up by the register in nude, white and black. I think mine cost less than $20.

I was in your same position when I was pregnant and with the belly band, I just wore my normal jeans and capris all the way through my pregancy. All you do is leave your pants unbuttoned and unzipped and then stretch the belly band over that area (and your whole belly if you want) and it gives your belly more room to grow, but the rest of your pants still fit. I literally wore mine just about every day. Saved me a ton of money on maternity clothes. Just make sure you buy long enough shirts to cover the band and you're set!

Take care!
Hilary
