Where Can I Find a Great Bakery to Make Cupcake Cakes????

Hello Moms!!
Mom daughter's 4th birthday is fastly approaching. Since we are going to have her birthday party at school this year, I do not want to deal with the hassel of cutting a cake and entertaining 15 four year olds; instead I would like to just purchase a decorative "Princess" (her theme) cupcake cake in the shape of a tiara or a wand. Any bakeries that you know of that can service us would be helpful. Thanks!!!

What can I do next?

Not sure where you are located. I've tried some of the things at Bluebonnet Bakery and they are delicious! They are on Camp Bowie in Fort Worth.

They can do custom designs, I've tried a lot of their cookies and cakes and I believe cupcakes also.

Central Market makes great cupcake cakes, and they make their icing from scratch in the store. Other places get it pre-made and just whip in the butter. (I used to work in bakeries.) Since icing is the main thing the kids eat at that age, quality is important in my mind anyway. If Central Market is not in your area, or budget, Kroggers had some cute halloween cupcake cakes. I'm sure they could do a castle or the wand and tiara. I have had some of their non-iced desserts, and they are good.

I would just do cupcakes from Sam's Club. They will put little rings of whatever you want and all the kids will have a ring to take home. They are cheap from Sam's Club and very good. We did a Cupcake Cake for my daughters 3rd birthday and it was pretty messy. When you pulled the cupcakes apart all the icing stuck together and just fell off. But if you would like to get one we got ours from Kroger.

Hope this helps you,

Not sure where you're located, but there's a place in Arlington near Bowen and Park Row called the Red Oven. They do beautiful custom work. They have been there for over 30 years that I know of. Wonderful stuff! Best Wishes! B. P.

I'd try Kroger, Walmart, or Target. I always get my daughters birthday cake at one of them and they are great and not that expensive.
