the only time I had 'morning' sickness was when I took my pre natal vitamin - if I took it in the morning. I took it in the evening right before bed so I wouldn't get sick. Other then that, just tender breasts and cried easier! I now have 2 healthy kids.

Gosh, I knew the very next day... darn woman, you are one of those lucky ones I read about...perhaps we should post your picture? LOL... Chances are you may never show morning sickness. Also, the morning thing is a myth...it can happen anytime throughout the day... vomitting, headaches, etc.

The pregnancy probably won't feel real to you until you start not fitting your clothes and you feel the baby start kicking...for some it is the ultrasound. Just go with the flow and accept the fact that, at least for now, you are extremely fortunate and there are a lot of us out here wishing ours would have gone as easy as yours is right now...LOL.

I never had morning sickness when I was pregnant with my son. Some women dont experience it. I wouldnt worry about a miscarriage unless you are bleeding. Dont worry about it, just enjoy being pregnant.

Congrats

Not everyone experiences morning sickness. I didn't. If you make it through the first trimester without morning sickness, chances are you won't ever get it. Be happy you're one of the lucky ones!

Hi K.. I never had morning sickness when I was pregnant with my son. I had it during my second pregnancy with my daughter and believe me - you aren't missing much. I hope you'll be one of the lucky ones who don't get it. Don't worry, you are fine.

Hi K.- I am the mother of two and had NO morning sickness with my first and only a little with the second. You shouldnt be concerned. Morning sickness is caused from the extra progesterone your body produces when you are pregnant. Some women are very sensitive to this and they become very ill. Others however, like myself, are not as affected by it. It just depends on how your body handles it but really has nothing to do with miscarriage. Ask your mother if she had morning sickness or not as you are very likely to have the same kind of pregnancies. My mother had three children and never a moment of sickness. (this also applies to stretch marks.. the biggest determining factor as to whether or not you will get them is if your mother did. Its a genetic thing.)
Anyway- congratulations on the baby. Try to relax and be grateful your not puking all the time (so far :))Good luck to you- I hope it stays like this for you. S.

I got the ocassional morning sickness right away (2-3 weeks). But I started to feel sick all the time around 6/7 weeks. Mine was so bad that I could not carry out my full time work schedule for about 1.5 months. Just make sure you are eating healthy and keeping fluids down. I don't know who named it "morning" sickness, because I felt sick 24 hours a day! I will hope that you do not feel that bad! Enjoy!

Nah, I didn't start feeling sick with my kids until I was around six weeks. I have irregular periods so I didn't even suspect I was pregnant until then! Good Luck and Congrats!

Don't worry. You are fine. I never had morning sickness with my daughter. Hope you are a lucky one that doesn't get it. It will feel real when you get to see or hear the heartbeat.

K.,
I want to start off by saying congradulations!!! I never had the 'morning' sickness. Mine was more at night. If you aren't feeling sick (yet) don't worry. You sould feel very lucky!! Mine would get so bad I could not sleep. I also had VERY bad heartburn. They said it was because of having boys with A LOT of hair. Either way, you are not missing anything with the lack of morning sickness. Enjoy your pregnancy!! It may not feel 'real' until you hear your little one's heart beat or see 'em movin around on the ultrasound. Good Luck!

Hey K.: I was one of those grateful women that never had morning sickness and I was concerned at first as you are. I hope you will understand that some women, lucky women, never experience any morning sickness or other problems like that during pregnancy. I have 2 grown children, 2 girls 30 and 32 years old. I never had menstrual cramps, never had morning sickness, barely had labor pains and never felt better in my life than when I was pregnant. My wish for you is that you have the same lucky time during your wonderful pregnancy as I did. Congratulations and good luck!

I was about 6 weeks with both my boys when my morning sickness started and by about 14 weeks it was pretty much over except for car rides. Some women have it and some don't.

DONT let this worry you at all. My first pregnancy, I felt different within 5 days, smelling things differently, etc., then feeling nauseous quite a bit after about 4-5 weeks maybe. The second pregnancy, I did not know I was pregnant until I took a test at 7 weeks of pregnancy, just because I realized I hadn't had a period in awhile. I never had morning sickness. They were both girls, so that does not explain the difference. Morning sickness is not directly linked to a certain hormone level you are supposed to have. Hormone levels are supposed to elevate at a certain rate, or it could be a sign of a problem, but most doctors don't check at your stage for that type of thing, unless there is concern about an ectopic pregnancy. Frankly, its really hard to learn you are pregnant so early in a pregnancy because it takes so long to really "feel" your pregnancy in some assuring way, and you tend to be impatient looking for signs that its "real". Good luck and congratulations!

I never had nausea with either of my pregnancies. If you make it to the twelve week mark with no sickness you probably will have none. Once you see and hear the heartbeat things will feel "real". Feeling the first fluttering kick is the most awesome feeling ever! Good luck!

I never experienced morning sickness and I was pregnant with twins. My pregnancy wasn't real to me until I started showing. And feeling movement is the most awesome thing. Congratulations and enjoy every minute of your pregnancy...it will go by fast.

K. - first congratulations! You are exactly where I was 2 years ago. My daughter was born Oct 30, 2006. She was my third girl and I didn't have any morning sickness with her. But I did with the other two. Everyone thought that meant I was going to have a boy :) So to answer you question...not everyone has morning sickness and if you don't it doesn't mean higher chance of miscarriage. Consider yourself lucky. I know what you mean by it not being "real". Because I wasn't sick either, it wasn't real for me until I felt the movement..which is about 18 weeks. So enjoy your good feeling times now...do kegals EVERY day and continue exercising. If you haven't already been exercising you can start a daily walk. Exercise is the best way to have a fast labor and get your pre baby body back.

I am 3 months pregnant for my first time. I never experienced any morning sickness. The way I knew/felt pregnant was my breasts were extremely tender and I could smell anything from a mile away. Don't worry, if you aren't having morning sickness, its a good thing! Congrats on your pregnancy!
