Just found out my in laws are coming in a couple hours for a visit! I will have he chance to let them watch my son and get out for a bit if I want. Problem is...I dont know what to do! All my friends are either working or at home with their kids. I have no money to blow on shopping. I'm horribly tired and not feeling too active. Dont really have errands at the moment i can think of as i did kost yesterday! But I want to take advantage of having a break!

What would you do With a few hours break outside your home?

What can I do next?

How about having them take the kids out and you get a nice hot bath and nap! That's what I would do!

I agree with sending them out with the child and staying home for a nap.

I'd go get myself a yummy coffee then browse a bookstore (if you can find one anymore) or the library. Oh to pick up a book off a shelf and leasurly flip through the pages....

I also like window shopping too. Maybe you don't have a lot to spend on clothes or whatever, but I think it's fun to see whats out there.

A movie too - I went to the movies by myself one afternoon and it wasn't as bad as I thought.

If money is not a problem I'd go to the spa...nails, toes, massage, all of it.

Otherwise, I'd lock my bedroom door, take a nice long bubble bath and get further into The Help.

If that won't work either, I'd go for a drive. I always have a lot to think about and hardly any time to do it. Sometimes I go to the beach (at least thats what the locals call it..there's no REAL beach in Southern Maryland!) and just look at the water and relax.

I would go see a movie. My husband doesn't care to go to the movies so I often go by myself.

In your case - no money and horribly tired - I would take a nap.

In my case, I love thrift store shopping. I would go dig through the racks for hidden treasure. A little money goes along way and I love the funky stuff I come up with.

Mani, pedi and hair if I was feeling indulgent.

Otherwise, I would grab a cup of 'expensive' coffee and hit the library to find a good novel and just enjoy the quiet for a few hours!

I seem to MP when I have a free time. LOL

Hmmm, if i had to leave the house - since I live near the beach I would take a book and go sit and read; call a friend out of town and catch up; wander through a museum; or, honestly, take a nap.

What ever you do - have fun and enjoy the break!

I have free time now, and here I am ! I also have no money to blow so I am just enjoying the empty house and was able to go for a long run in the Spring-like weather.

Now it's off to read my book, nap and ccccllllean. And yes, in that order :-)
