Hello mamas,
my 6 y.o. has lots of fun hard boiling eggs and loves eating just the white part, leaving the yolks to the side. What can I make with those? Do you have any easy recipe for hard boiled yolks?? I'd hate to just throw them away...Thanks in advance.

What can I do next?

If you have a dog, they love them and they are good for the dogs coat. Thankfully I have 2 dogs that love them when my kids have their hard boiled egg kick.

You can crumble them or cut them and add on top of a salad. They are a good source of protein.

Make hard boiled egg salad and just add them. Add them to a meat loaf. Crumble them into anything like pasta sauce - its extra protein and so little it should not change the flavor or texture.

Crumble it into raw egg and scramble..... w cheese!

Throw them into a spinach salad (or cooked spinach). Or slice & put on top of macaroni salad. Or put in egg salad.

I am under the impression that the yolk is the unhealthy part. (bad for cholesterol) We throw ours away. If i am making deviled eggs or egg salad we will use them though.

The thing is: will anyone in your family, eat the cooked yolks?
If not then you gotta throw it away. Or eat it yourself if you like it.
Crumble it onto a salad.
Make deviled eggs.
Make egg salad sandwiches.
Google search recipes for it.

People have always eaten the yolks. Until someone who had a different style of egg told everyone they were unhealthy. In a few years they will be healthy again and everyone will be eating them again. If you like egg yolks then you can eat them.

I think making tuna salad or egg salad is a good thing. You can just mush them up in the mix so it's a bit more "yolky"...lol.
