Every year, I think "THIS is my favorite age!" My son is now 8 and I LOVE this age! Maybe this will come to a halt once he enters the teens? LOL

Hi spider-

For ME...the 'favorite age' has had more to do with ME TY very much!! lol

I am 51...and have enjoyed each of 'my' ages...and by extension...have enjoyed each of my kid's ages!

Now...am prepared...*though NOT rushing* the 'grandparental' years...and do it ALL again...with SO much less stress...strain...and personal responsibility!!!

Best Luck!!

Well, I've always thought the age that they are at is the best age! I've raised two into their 20s and I enjoyed every age, for different reasons. At 15/16 my stepson was playing bass guitar in a garage band and we were helping them put on shows at parks! So fun!! Now, my nine year-old daughter is surprising me all the time!

I love all of the stages so far (I have a 2.5 y/o and a 4 month old). But my husband said 2 is so awesome it made him want more kids. And it takes a lot to get him excited about something LOL.

My six year old is a totally different kid, then the little boy I took to Kindergarten last fall.

He is so mature. He gets very embarrassed if I call him out on ANYTHING, in front of his friends.

This past Friday we allowed him to walk around the block(because we live on a very small round about, that has sidewalks the whole way). He had to take my cell phone. He was showed how to dial 9-11. And how to call Daddy. He thought he was the coolest thing ever. I am trying to learn where I can ease up and let him have some ''BIG'' kid space. Without putting him in any trouble.

So, I would have to say this age is becoming my ''FAVORITE'' very quickly. I like being able to give him some string to go out on his own a bit. I get to help make him into a responsible kid...

I also like finding out what BOY stuff he is in too. For the last five years he has been a very feminine boy. He loved Princesses and Loved dressing up in dresses and what not. Now he is slowly turning into a boys boy. He loves Spongebob and Power Rangers. And has not so much as tried to buy anything girlie now for about six months.

My younger two are so different then my first. I have enjoyed watching them go through the different stages of kiddo hood. Each have had their pluses and minuses.

My four year old has the biggest lovey heart I have ever seen on a kiddo.

My three year old has the best sense of humor. He is always trying to get mama and brothers to laugh at him.

I cant wait to see them grow into little Gentlemen. I know I am teaching them how to treat a lady and They will all be very nice boys:)

Course dropping them off at college was pretty cool too.

Maybe when I am close to death I can answer that! I would think that as a parent we will love every age...even the dreaded teenage years. My parents are really enjoying watching ME be a parent...maybe this is THEIR favorite age!? Who knows? I just know that sometimes I think 5 months is the greatest, sometimes I think 5 is amazing, and sometimes I think 8 is awesome! I also think the opposite sometimes... :)

My son is 3 years 5 months old. I love this age.
I don't love the attitude that comes with it though!
He is the oldest- so maybe what's coming next I will love even more.
We will see!

I'm REALLY lovin' this four year old stuff.

Potty trained, still wants hugs and REALLY cool "Cars 2" toys everywhere! He also has a rockin' sense of humor. That kid cracks me up all day long.

I have a 16 year old son, and just turned 20 year old daughter, and I enjoy them both so much now! I just find that the older they get the more interesting they are and the more we have in common. They are fun to be with, and I just love talking to them and seeing them grow into adults. I have been so blessed to actually enjoy the teen years :)

8 mo, just when they start smiling and giggling and sort of getting a "personality". And 4-8 yo say the funniest things. My 8 yo son and I were in the lazy river at the water park yesterday and he leans over and whispers to me "mom, there's lots of hot girls here"....ugh, its starting already! But they are hysterical!

I miss having babies! They learn so much so quickly, and everything is fascinating to them. Toddlers, too. But I also love their ages right now (8 and 6) because they still learn so much, and ask lots of questions, and we can have conversations that are pretty interesting. Plus they are potty trained and understand me when I tell them not to do something (and why). So I can't really say what age is my absolute favorite, since so far I've liked them all....but I'm not really looking forward to adolescence. At all. Because I remember how I was at that age. ;-)

Can I only pick one??

I have six: 14, 12, 9, 7, 4 (very nearly 5) and 19 mos. One on the way (so yay for more baby time! :)

Is it too cliche to say they're all my favorite age?

I DO love 7/8 year olds and 4/5 year olds so much. There's such a big CHANGE in them then. Also, newborns!!! And 7-12 month olds. Awww cuddle times!!!

I think I might be being hit with a big dose of BABY HORMONES because I have the desire to go wake up all my kiddos and snuggle!!

Good thing the 19 month old still sleeps with me and daddy. I can go get some cuddles as soon as I get into bed!

I'm loving 4 and 5 right now. Mainly because it has gotten easier. No more diapers or bottles. They can dress themselves, clean thier own room, put thier plate in the sink, help fold laundry. They are finally reasonable human beings. We can have a conversation about choices and consequences. I also love the intellectual growth spurt they are going through. They are comprehending so many things so rapidly. It's amazing to see how they reason through things.

I have an 18 yr old daughter as well, and I have to say, this is my favorite age of hers so far. She is and helpful, respectful, and pleasant again! She still needs me when she's sick, but she's so independant about so many things. We can talk to each other, shop, go to lunch, get our hair done. Things are still so black and white at this age. I get great, no nonsense advice from her! She's my best friend. I definately love this age.
