I will not get Mother of the Year for this, but my fussy 12-year-old has: yogurt, strawberries, Pringles, Oreos and sparkling flavored water. At least yesterday he didn't eat the Pringles and shared the Oreos. (-:

Turkey sandwich, grapes, strawberries, blueberries, jello, chips ahoy cookies and a capri sun. And if you saw how little my eight-year old is, you would be amazed that she could eat it all. But she spends the whole day at camp outside doing physical activity so it's all fuel!

I'm a bad mama!!

Nothing. My youngest is away to Cub Scout camp...my oldest has a friend over and we went to the Silver Diner for brunch....

What is usually in their lunch box???

PB&Js sandwich and rollup in a tortilla
turkey and cheese sandwiches as well as roll ups
ham and cheese sandwich or roll up

cherries, grapes, orange, banana, tangerine or an apple....all depends upon what I have on hand...
chips - pringles, doritos, ruffles....
water or gatorade

Sometimes I put in leftover pizza.
I have the little ziploc "cups" with lids so sometimes I put pudding in it to surprise them...
I like to make banana muffins so I put one in if they ask for it.

My youngest son loves my corn bread with honey on it as a sandwich...

I'll be watching this thread!

Today DD has cornbread, a hot dog with no bun, peaches and juice, but I'm not sure if she'll eat a cold hot dog at school in the fall.

Turkey and cheese tortilla wrap, applesauce squeeze pouch, pickles, lays chips, cereal bar, beef jerky, and string cheese - that's for lunch and 2 snacks. Today was a lazy mom day, so mostly prepackaged stuff.

:) Today? School hasn't started yet (here, starts on 8/20), so no lunchbox. But today's lunch was 2 soft tacos (taco meat, cheddar cheese, tomato, cut up spinach, salsa), some spanish rice, some refried beans, and they shared a granny smith apple. Water with lime juice.
Yesterday's lunch was more lunchbox friendly, and something we ALL love: whole wheat flat bread with hummus, feta cheese, spinach, tomato, cucumber, red and orange peppers, and some roasted chicken (I shredded up some leftover chicken) with greek seasoning to make some delicious rollups. The side was leftover herbed rice and leftover green beans...that wouldn't go in a lunchbox if you can't heat it up, but the rollup doesn't need to be hot. Walmart brand sparkling water: the cherry flavor.

I think I have the worlds pickiest kids. They are both starting pre K in a week and this is what I imagine it will be, just to be sure they arent starving at the end of the day. T- will have turkey pepperoni or a huge spoonful of peanut butter, grapes, carrots, goat milk or juice, maybe a few bites of a slice of wheat bread or a wheat tortilla. If she ate more than that I would be shocked. B-loose turkey meat or roast, cherry tomatoes (only orange and yellow-yep, picky), grapes or a banana, milk.
I have no idea what we will do for variety for T, because she wont eat meat of any kind. It's not a veggitarian choice, she is only 4. She just wont do it (although if we go eat mex then she eats about a quarter of my bean burrito and the same amount of my chicken enchilada as long as I just call it an enchilada and don't mention chicken) Have no idea what thats about. Most of the stuff the school serves, she will not eat and B will eat some of it, but has to alter it (hotdog- no bun, chicken patty sand- no bun, etc)
