I went to the fireflies website and saw the pricey clothes and clicked on some to see, "dry clean only". The first chocolate icecream that falls on that expensive outfit will ruin your day.
My mother's mantra for the 5 of us was, "clothes do not make the man". So we never were shoppers. My mother in law was and the only thing anyone had to say at her funeral was: "she always looked good". It was embarrassing. I have a daughter who followed in her footsteps (genes?) and she is always hungering after the latest thing. Keeps her bankaccount on 0. Her sister is just the opposite. I guess I am telling you that you are implanting a value here; "you are what you wear" and I would not choose that for my daughter. It is a hard row to hoe.

I make my daughter tutus with matching tops for every occation. She loves them, and we always get complements. They are very simple to make, or if you are in San Antonio, I could make one custom for you. Just let send me a note.

If you buy the squeaky shoes make sure you can stand the squeaking...it doesn't bother me...we have four pairs. I LOVE that when I am shopping or at the park I can hear as well as see my kids.

My son would sometimes "hide" from me...now he can't because even when they are standing still they will squeak.

If you are in San Antonio there is a shop called All Things Girly at Bitters and 281, down from the Hobby Lobby, with tons of custom made outfits and cute things (bows in ever color imaginable). If you pocketbook can stand the sticker price. Mine can't but it was fun to look.

Go to Sweet Bambini. It is around Dairy Ashford and Memorial.
Cute boutique, high end. I think they may have custom order items. They carry clothes you won't find at a regular mall.

Those custom "pillow case" dresses are cute, I have seen them with a birthday cupcake on them and a number which reflects the age of the birthday girl on it. Or I have seen them monogrammed with the childs initials. The well made ones are far nicer than the cheaper versions.

This next store is not close to you at all but is located in the Sugar Land/Missouri City area if you are ever around.
It is called Latte Tots and it is also a high end boutique with TDF clothes. My daughter has clothes from there and they receive compliments wherever we go.

They have very funky, hip clothes to very traditional (smocked, etc) items. Also carries the customized pillow case dresses. Plus they have great shoes, hats, headbands, etc.
You will definitely find "one of a kind" stuff there. You won't be disappointed. Owner's name is Jaime, tell her L. Galera referred you. If money were no option, I'd buy half the store!!

Squeaky shoes are super annoying after the first 10 minutes. I know, because I bought my daughter some.

Pettiskirts are in for the girlie-girl crowd. Although the good ones are pricey!

(By the way... I've never actually bought an $80 skirt for my child... They're fun to look at, but I don't want anyone to think I'm that oblivious to the economic woes going on...)
