What Kind of Deordorant Do You Use?

I know this seems like a silly question, but I stink. I am very active always running, biking, etc. I'm so sick of having to constantly reapply deodorant and be paranoid that I might have B.O. I just got home from biking (applied before I left) and I know that I smell. I wear wicking active wear as well.

I feel like I've tried every brand under the sun. I tried some clinical strength and I'm not noticing a difference. In fact, it feels like it's even worse! There are so many to chose from and it's exhausting! haha

So.... to any active Mamas out there. What do you use?

What can I do next?

Look at the ingredient list. The higher the aluminum content, the more effective it is, but not necessarily good for you.

I know this will sound crazy, but a friend of mine bought me really expensive aluminum free deodorant for my birthday. I LOVE it. It is the only thing I've found that works, but it is really expensive ($18/stick). It's called Lavanilla and is only sold at Sephora. Another note, there are certain things that will make you perspire more, caffeine being one of them. Also, there are certain things that make your sweat smell stronger (i.e. garlic).

I use Lady Speed stick without issue. You know... my husband had this problem for a while. I would switch his deodorant, soap, shampoo because he would get this smell. It seemed his deodorant had quit working. But I realized that when he eats certain foods (especially garlic) and sweats, he smells so bad. So now he avoids those foods and the smell has completely gone away.

My husband and SIL are the same way. They used to use Tussy, but it is not made anymore, but anyway, my hubby tried everything, and I ended up buying him some Tom's to use. It works great. No bad smells anymore!! We used to buy it at the drug store, but now I have seen it at Walmart, and noticed that they now have some in scents for women.

I don't use anything. I just bathe again if needed. But many of my friends swear by Shaklee's deodorant creme.

I use Dove deodorant and Secret...

I did use a brand that you can only get from a representative...NuSkin...it was really good. but since I'm not working outside the home, there was no sense in spending the money on it.

Talk to your doctor about your sweating...it could be medically related.

GOOD LUCK!!

The ONLY thing that works for me:
In the shower after washing up and doing my regular routine the last thing i do is make a paste out of baking soda and some cream body wash and apply to my armpits, wait for about ten second and then rinse it off. After i get out of the shower i apply some Milk of Mag. (Its weird but works great) then wait for it to dry and this will keep odor away no matter what. You can apply your regular deodorant over this if you want extra protection from sweat but i promise you will not have ANY odor after this! Good luck! I hope it helps. I have tried everything under the sun and have finally found safe and effective regimen. :)

Dove ultra clear powder scent. I have found that the dove works the best, but only the powder scent. Any other scent I feel like I smell even if I wasn't sweaty!

I use Degree Clinical with Motion Sense. I have tried all types and brands and this works best. Even here in Texas during the 100 plus degree heat in the summer.
