What Is Your Favorite Cotton Underwear?

I moved here from up north a year ago and am not used to the heat. I'm always outside or in the car running my three boys to school and activities and can't seem to keep my lady parts dry. My panties always seem to be wet and I'm worried about infections. My sister told me I should switch to 100% cotton underwear and before I go shopping, I wanted to know if there are any particular brands that you would recommend or not recommend. Thank you.

What can I do next?

I don't like Hanes, they always ride up on me. Try Jockey for women. You might also try to wear all cotton or linen shorts or crop pants. A little loose fitting so they will breathe better. I wear denim skirts on hot humid days too they are a lot cooler than shorts. A little extra body powder on my thighs, they don't get sticky. (sorry if that was aTMI)
Okay maybe another TMI but thong undies are a lot cooler on a hot summer day than panties, especially under a skirt.

I like Hanes. The low-cut bikinis are really comfy! You might have better luck with a pantiliner though... the cotton will absorb it but then it also holds the moisture against your skin. The pantiliner will 'wick' the moisture away from your skin.

You may laugh, but I LOVE my matenity undies from either Old Navy, the Gap, or Motherhood maternity. I am not pregnant currently, but they are sooo comfortable. They stay over my butt and don't ride up. Plus they are just soo soft and don't have that elastic feeling like it may cut into me or something, lol. I know silly that I wear maternity undies all the time, but they are my fav!!

I'm also a Hanes gal. I used to buy FormFit from Target, but they stopped making them. I like the cuts and colors (so I still feel pretty and can wear my non-mom waist jeans) and they seem to hold up pretty well, too. Now, you may still find that you sweat and get damp, but the cotton should breathe better.

If you decide to go for a pantyliner, consider the Always Infinity. They are super-super thin and flexible.

It seems the older I get, the heat becomes more unbearable! When the heat kicks up, I wear lots of skirts, usually the cotton knit (t-shirt material) kind, they wash and wear easily, and are a cute summer staple with sandals or flip-flops. This helps me stay much, much cooler! I don't really have ideas on brand names, so I'll be reading answers too. For me, I need underwear that don't show lines! Good luck, and welcome to Florida :)

I have always worn Victoria's Secret but recently started wearing Soma - check out Soma.com - I am lucky enough to have an outlet store near me with good prices. You can get a free catalog from their site. Good luck to you!!

I only wear Victoria's Secret. They are the only brand that fits me right every time. I have all kinds of undies from VS and the cheeky ones are by far my favorite for every day and I have the cotton bikini/low rise for those "other days."

beware, cotton is nice, but after a few wears, you're pulling them up all day...They stretch out so fast...

I love my VS cotton panties in all styles! I really don't think the 5/25 deal is bad either!

I like Hanes hipsters and Gap hipsters. Gap hipsters show a bit less of the pantyline than Hanes, but they're both comfortable.

Been there

1. Dont wear jean shorts but a breathable cotton. Kohls has some nice stuff for good price. Get the credit card for more off. Just bought some underwear there instead of my Victoria Secrets. They were lighter and fit better (mudds). Sears and Jcpennys usually have good sales and underwear too. Note i am buying the low rise hipster junior ones cause i have a small butt.

2. A little baby powder helps absorb the mositure. Try the cornstarch kind.
3. Plenty of water to help keep the urinary tract healthy.

I like hanes. . . they don't ride up for me. And they come in whatever style you could want. Yeah cotton is the best no matter where you live!
