Celebration Town is at 975 Bacons Bridge Rd. If you go to the Library, it's a great place to stop & let the kids get the wiggles out. It's brite, colorful & clean! It's only $5.25 per child for 2 hours. Plus they let you bring in lunch!

House of Bounce is only $5 for open bounce and lots of fun:) Its our favorite in the area too, some of the others are not very clean.
Free movies at Azalea 16 movie theater, 10am...Not sure if they will stop when summer is done.
The Little Gym is AWESOME but can be pricey...They do offer a payment plan that is reasonable.
There is a Rollie Pollies in the area, heard its great but no personal experience.
Chick fla is great, every Monday from 5-8 they offer a different activity and free kids meal with adult purchase.
You can do lots of crafts at home too, get a box of craft popsickle sticks and glue them together to make something cute. Maybe a new picture frame for the new baby and her, etc..
Paint and stickers can lead to hours of indoor or outdoor play too.
Put on silly songs and dance around while playing dress up. These are things you can both do together and have lots of fun!!
Good luck:)

Celebration Town at Bacon's Bridge/Old Trolley Rd is great during weekday mornings...it's practically deserted, and if your daughter doesn't like it (I think a lot of kids freak out the first few times!), they may give you your money back. Also, the...the jump thingys (LOL) are way big enough for parents, too! :D

There are two jump castles places on Ashley Phosphate. One is in a big shopping center near dorchester and ashley phosphate and the other is further down towards interstate. I think they are both $5 an hour to jump. The new one near dorchester has a separate area for children under 4 which is nice. Another think you can do is check out meetup.com and search our area and you can join groups and I know they have some where they do playdates. Another place not mentioned by the last person is also the children's museum downtown. My sister and her family where in Japan for 3 years too! They are now in England, which they have been for almost 2 years.

Hello Jordan,

Welcome back home to the States and I hope that you find South Carolina a fun place to live. I have a few other suggestions as well (as the ladies above already mentioned the ones I thought of).

1. You can take your little one to "Wee Reads" at your local library. Library is in the Bi-Lo shopping center right behind Applebees on Baconsbridge Road. I know of several ladies that said you will have to sign up for times since they only have a certain amount of kids that can participate at any given time (because it is so popular).

**Summerville Library**
Address: 76 Old Trolley Rd, Summerville, SC 29485
Phone: ###-###-####

2. Gahagan Park at Boundary Road. It is a large playground area that has picnic tables and public restrooms at your beckoning call. The playground is all wooden that provides slides, swings, and designated area only for your little one. The park is not really busy in the mornings due to school being in (which is nice because you won't need to worry about the big kids).

3. Charlestown Landing is a state park with the admission of adults at $5.00 and children 6 and under are free. There is a small zoo with otters, pumas, bears, bison, moose, deer, wild birds (where you actually walk into their habitat through a gate and get really close to them in their section) and you have miles to walk and enjoy the scenery. You can get a yearly pass for $50.00 and that pass gets you and your family into ALL 47 state parks in South carolina. Tons to do and see and what a deal! They also have a section where you can bring your lunch and eat inside (vending machines included), you can also have your birthday parties there or get togethers and cook out on their grills. Go to their website at www.charlestownlanding.org and take a look at what they offer. This park is located in West Ashley area.

3. Party Kingdom
Address: 1739 Maybank Hwy, Charleston, SC 29412
Phone: ###-###-####
You can take your child every Wednesday for $4.00 all day play on the playground. They have their own Build-A-Bear inside their facility and the playground is a huge tree with three big slides for your little one to slide down if she wants too. It is a mini-Chuck E. Cheese place and the people are wonderful and the food is really good. Also right beside the big tree is a large section for just your little one with heavily padded flooring and all kinds of toys she could want to play with. Little rides for her too. What a great place!

3. Davita's Funtastic Gymnastics
Address: 9549 Hamburg Rd, Ladson, SC 29456
Phone: ###-###-####
I use to go every Tuesday with my best friend and her little girl (I have a 3 yr. old daughter and 1 yr. old son) and it is $3.00 for your little one to explore their gym. All padded and one section on the left strictly for her age group. Mr. Tony is such a super nice guy and his wife is just as nice. They own the gym and have had such a great success in opening their place up to the public for everyones little ones to experience a little of what they teach. They also have classes too. Their website is www.davitasfuntasticgymnastics.com.

4. Chik-Fil-A (any location). Sometimes when the weather is too much for my kids I just take them in their little play area for an hour and watch them have fun. Afterwards I get them ice cream as a treat and my kids love that.

Just a few suggestions for you to start off with like the rest of the other ladies ideas. Take care and have fun exploring the fun places I mentioned. I am sure I can think of more spots for you, but I'll spare you the time and get those to you next time. E-mail me about getting free books for your little one. My e-mail address is: ____@____.com.
