We've looked and looked for preschool and K programs for our 2.5 and 4.5 yrs old. We really like convenant in Colleyville but it's almost 10,000 a year for one K child. We're looking for something like 6,000 a year. We could stretch some more for a really good school. We're new in this area, what do you think it's the best (quality and price) preschool/K in the area? Any suggestions/experiences are welcomed. Thanks a lot.

He did Really well there and absolutley loved it. They have NAEYC accreditation which was extreamly important to me. The cost is very reasonable as well. I say worth looking into :)
Reading Friends in Keller (just over the Southlake border) is excellent. Your child will definitely be reading before Kindergarten! The staff is amazing and there is no turnover because the staff love it there as well! Marsha Wesley is the director.
We've had a great experience with St. Martin in the Fields in Southlake. It's not a fancy building, but the teachers are dedicated and caring, and the turnover is almost nonexistant.

Faith Christian School in Grapevine goes PreK through 12th. They are just opening their new building this school year. K is $9,400 this year and PreK is new this year, so I don't know what amount it is. So, not much less than what you were looking at, but another good option. We love it!
I would really check into PSE (Preschool Enrichment). It is right on 1709, east of Pearson Ln and west of Davis Blvd. It is competitively priced but it is an excellent school.
The school doesn't offer anything before PreK, but you might want to check out Coram Deo in Flower Mound.
I have also heard good things about Faith Christian in Grapevine, but I think it is similarly priced to Covenant.
