Just curious what all you ladies out there sleep in...

Do you wear pajamas (i.e. pants & shirt)? Sexy nighties? An old, comfy t-shirt? Nothing?

Just wondering...

What can I do next?

So What Happened?

DanaW - I can sooo relate! I LOVE the IDEA of sleeping naked, but I get sooo freaking cold, even when it's not cold! LOL

For Kate J, who asked, it really depends on my mood, I guess! Probably most often, it's pj pants and a t-shirt. I have a few spaghetti strap short nighties I'll wear on occasion, and sometimes undies and a t-shirt. Never sleep naked - I get too cold and usually don't sleep well, then eventually wake up and get dressed so I can get some sleep! LOL The fiance would love it if I'd sleep naked more, but I just hate it! Let me restate - I like it, the soft sheets, his body warmth, etc., until I fall asleep! Then I'm freezing!

Usually a tank and undies. I have a similar problem as other mama's do... kids roaming into the bed in the am (or middle of night). But... does't matter how cold I am... I can not wear pants or socks. I feel way too enclosed and it gets all twisted. I hate that twisted clothes feeling.

Mostly pajama style pants or capris with a matching shirt, tshirt or tank top. Some nights I just wear hubbys tshirts and boxers (softer). Cannot sleep naked...also my 3 year old wonders into bed with us at night so that would be awkward!!

Good question. I like wearing a t-shirt and panties or shorts. Some nights I sleep naked, just depends. I can honestly say I have never slept in a sexy nighty....because it usually comes off before you get to go to sleep. ;) I know I absolutely can not sleep on anything long sleeved (even in the winter) or socks (even in the winter).

Wow. Yeah... I used to sleep naked... I think I remember those days... back before we had kids. Now it just isn't very functional. Our kids are 9 and 12 and you just never know when somebody will need something during the night, or wake up with a stomach bug or something that needs immediate attention. I've even had one of them wake up and go out to the sofa to watch TV in the wee hours b/c they couldn't sleep. If they have a bad dream, they STILL show up on my side of the bed. AND the dog will occasionally hear something and bark like a fiend... hubby sleeps through. Guess who gets up and schlepps through the house to see if it was an armadillo, a deer, a bobcat, or something nefarious?

I love PJ's. Hubby buys me new ones every Xmas. I have about 3 or 4 drawers of them. I really need to toss some, but every time I start to I think, "hmmm, that was comfy... maybe I'll wear it tonight. " I have shorts and T's or tanks for the hot weather, and long flannel tops and bottoms for winter. Sometimes I wear a ribbed tank under the flannel tops, and if I get too warm during the night, the flannel top comes off. I also have a few night gowns. Like Land's End sleep T's? Also long sleeved, short sleeved, and some spaghetti strap ones in really lightweight cotton knit. ALL of my fav PJ's are cotton... no matter the style.
Hubby knows it's a good night when I come to bed in ANYthing that isn't cotton. lol

Usually a cotton tank top and boy shorts (undies). Is comfy yet still lets my hubby know I'm up for some action. If I wear a sexy nightie, he calls it my "uniform" and KNOWS it is game night, so it takes some of the surprise out of the night :)

What about you?

I am proud to say I can go from bed to target with nothing but a quick hairbrush and my car keys.....I sleep fully clothed. I am odd - have to have long sleeves on (even in the summer) and socks. I get so cold. It definitely isn't the most romantic attire, but it's usually comfy clothes, fully dressed.

Cotton tank top and the seamless/stretchy boy short undies from Victoria’s Secret! They are super comfy. I wear the same thing every night all year round. I tend to sleep hot so during the summer months I don’t use any covers but during the winter I’ll use a sheet.

Ideally, raw... just my skin.

I *love* lingerie, but can't afford to indulge, so haven't worn that for ages and ages.

Mostly, however, I pull on a pair of adidas pants and go topless.

NAKED!!! I'm 43 and I have never wore anything. I can't stand it! Although I do have a few nightgowns I throw on if I have to and sometimes if the kids are sick I "try" to sleep in something but usually after a couple hours I throw it off. I just hate it. I sleep much better in my birthday suit. And hubby likes it too!

I used to sleep naked. My husband got me an electric blanket for the cold nights, before that I had flannel pj's for when it got cold.

Now that I get up several times a night to take care of the baby, I'm back to the flannel pj's and the style nursing bra you can just push to the side to nurse. It's too cold to wear anything less at night these days.

Honestly I miss the naked nights. I can't stand all that fabric bunching up every time I roll over.

I have two cotton nightgowns that are WAY to old but they are so soft I can't give them up. OR cotton pants and cotton t-shirt. Can you tell I like natural fibers? Nighties are for (rare) special occasions.

I am such a girly girl. I wear just about only Nylon Tricot, think slip material. I buy them at Lane Bryants or Roamans. I get the long leg pj's for winter and the shorts and/or Capri length pants for Summer. They all match in style and the colors are similar so I interchange them at will.

I like sliding around in the sheets, not binding up with a cotton/cotton blend fabric. I also like that my legs are not sticking/rubbing together when it's hot. I like the pants instead of a night gown.

I am amazed at the ones that pull off the sleeping in nothing at all. I wear a t-shirt and underwear and silk nighties most of the time. After kids the sleeping in nothing is not even on the table, you just never know when they will come into the room through out the night. Also we live in the mountains and you just never know when you will have to jump up and see what is doing on at night.

Naked as the day I was born. I can't sleep with clothes on, I feel like they are choking me! Even when it is super cold, I have my down comforter and my warm sheets and I hunker down and sleep like a baby. Morning kinda sucks cuz it's so cold....but it would be worse if I couldn't sleep!!

-A tank and panties if it's been a crazy day and I just want to go to bed.
-My hubby's shirt and his boxers if I wanna relax and watch tv before bed.
-A white cotton nightgown (not a nightie and not a grannie gown, somewhere in the middle) with no panties if I took a bubble bath before bed.

I wear a nightgown with a lot of leg showing most of the time because my husband likes it. Some men love women in regular pjs, thinks it is sexy. I will sleep nude if I definitely know we are going to be active that night and then wash up and put the nightgown on after. I think a good night sleep is key, so if you can find something you are comfortable in and the hubby likes, go with that. I would like to sleep nude more but 3 year old and 8 year old in the house, so can't.
