Direct sales is what you make of it. You get out what you put into it. I think the key is finding something you can truly stand behind. If makeup is your thing go for it. I sell Creative Memories. I love to share photos it's my passion so it's a good fit for me. Minimal start up money and dependable products. I'll be happy to talk to you about them more if your interested.

These are good opportunities, but you have to know a lot of people to keep your business going. I would love to share with you the home-based business opportunity that I found. There is no selling, no inventory, no delivering products.

Any Direct Sales business can be a money maker, if you work it hard and for a steady long time. There is no magic paycheck overnight and you will have no or little income for awhile while starting your customer base.

You need to know a lot of people and continue to meet new people. Also, love what you are doing, like the previous poster stated. Dont love make-up, wearing it and showing people how to wear it? Then dont do Mary Kay.

I personally loved their make-up, but I am all natural now.

Another note is, watch who you signup with. You need someone who is already successful, not your best friend who hasnt made it anywhere. Find a Director somewhere, someone who can show you THEY ARE making a big paycheck, because they will be the right person to show you how to do it. (again, if you put in that effort)
