I am wondering what the going rate is for home day care and also center based day care.

It seems liek $40 a day is pretty average.

What can I do next?

I pay $255 a week for my 16 mos old at Premier Academy in Oakland Twp. They provide 2 snacks, lunch, milk and juice. The rate goes down as the kids get older. It is less for a 3 year old...probably close to $200 a week. I pay $186 a week for my 5 year old.

We paid about $235 or 245$ a week at Kindercare.

I pay $71 per day for 2 kids part-time. This includes snacks, breakfast and lunch. It is an in-home daycare. I think she charges $60/day for full-time for 2 kids.
