Mine have done it for years. I went to the Dr. when I first noticed it. He was not concerned at all. If it is another color from clear or white, then he said to come in, could be a problem. I guess I'm just more hormonal than the average bear!

That was the first indication I was pregnant w/ my second. Hard, tender nipples that when expressed leaked a clearish fluid. Considering they'd been dormant (so to speak) for the last 6 years I knew something was up.
I was scheduled for my first gynecologist appt. in a few years (yeah, I was bad) right around then...so when I went in I told them I believed I was pregnant and lo and behold yes I was!

After my first pregnancy (which ended in a miscarraige) I have always had a little clear stuff coming out with expression. Sometimes it itches or feels hard so you just squeeze it out to relieve it. The very process of doing that can actually cause you to make more :). As long as it isn't blood tinged, you are fine. You might just bring it up at your next appointment. Sometimes it is hormonal.

This can be a pituitary abnormality which can be reflected by elevated prolactin. You really should get all your hormones checked out, in particular since you are trying for a baby, but it hasn't happened.

It could be a psychosomatic reaction to your desire for a baby, or it could be a symptom of pregnancy. The only way to tell for sure is to talk to your doctor about it.

you need to see a doctor. Could be a symtom of something you cannot wish away. The sooner the better.

I had this happen and it turned out I had a pituitary tumor (prolactinoma). Go to your doctor and have them check your hormone levels, including your prolactin levels. It could be other things, of course. I would definitely make an appointment with your doctor.

I had that once. Doctor told me it could be from sexual manipulation of the breast during love-making -- but it could be an early sign of cancer. So, we did a mammography, stayed away from that area for awhile, and all was well. If it hadn't stopped so quickly, I'd be at my doctor's door for more tests.

When I had this it turned out to be a cyst that I had to have surgically removed. I would get it checked out by your ob/gyn. They can do a sonogram of your breast. If it is a cyst it can get infected. The discharge will turn yellow and then green I'd get it checked out asap, especially if your trying to conceive!!

You need to get your hormone levels checked. A discharge from your breasts when you are not nursing a child can be a sign of something serious.

This was happening to me several years ago. It was 2 yrs after having my 2nd son. It seemed to happen when I was under stress. My Dr. tested my hormone levels and they came back normal. She thought I may have had PCOS because I also wax my arms, etc. due to excessive hair growth. Everything came back normal. The Dr. told me not to worry unless the discharge turned another color or was blood tinged. I am currently PG and when I was very early along, my progesterone level was severely low and I had to take supplements to maintain the pregnancy. I would mention it to your OB/GYN during your next visit for testing. If your hormones are out of whack, they could give you something to stabalize them and it would also hopefully make it easier to get PG.

Good luck!
