I totally understand what you are talking about, simple. I got married on a cruise ship and did not want anything over the top, so I went to JcPenny's and found the perfect white dress among the prom dresses. Another great place I just found this past weekend is a place called Group US at the Ontario Mills in Ontario Ca. They carry all types of formal dresses and wedding dresses. The thing I liked is that if you find a dress you like but don't like the color, they will order it and get it in about a week.

I know you said you tried the dress shops, but go back to david's bridal. I tried on one that was very simple, had no train, no rhinestones, just some simple rouching (not sure how that's spelled but pronounced rooshing). It was $250. The one I got was actually simple, but has buttons and a train and a little beading on the top of the dress. I put a sash and called it a day!

I have a wedding dress for sale but it's not simple. It's very elegant. It's a size 22W as well.

Ebay. Group USA, Macy's, Nordstroms, JC Penny, David's Bridal, Alfred Angelo....

Or, if you're a size 20 or smaller, I'll give you mine for $100. It's been cleaned and stored properly...

Have you ever thought about just buying a simple bridesmaids dress in white or ivory. They have alot of cute styles out that would be perfect if you are not into all the frills.
