My daughter is turning 1 next month, and I'd like to have her party at one of the water parks in the Broward / Boca area. Anyone been to a party at one?

What can I do next?

Good Day,
We just had my daughter/nieces 7th Birthday party at Quiet Waters park on Powerline Rd. We set up some tables next to the play ground area, and while we were fixing everything up, the kids played at the play ground! Then after everyone ate and had some cake, we took the small group to their water park to lay for an hour or so. the water park does sessions, so you need to check their schedule and try to time everything so that you can get whatever amount of time you want in the water straight. Because I didn't check the schedule, our kids had only an hour and fifteen minutes. All the kids & adults enjoyed a great day at the park & birthday party with us! We even ordered pizza from Giovannis and they had it ready for us by 10:30 am, so that we could take it with us for the 11 am party time! It was great all around. You can also rent a pavillion, if you want there. We just put ourselves under the shade of a large tree! Hope this helps you!
Truly,
Kathy N.

K.,

If the party is to make your daughter happy, think twice. If she knows the water park already and loves it, then you might be okay. But my son is close to two and he still needs several sessions at any water park before he "warms" up to the idea. Make sure you have alternatives, as it might thunder, and then they close the parks. For a 1st birthday (that she won't remember anyways) I might just keep it super simple. Also, either plan to have someone else doing the "mommy" part while you are party hostess or have someone who is party hostess while you are mommy. I work with my sister and my mother on these items so that my son is okay when we have parties.

Best wishes!

For the past two years I have been holding my daughter's birthday party at the Caporella Aquatic Center in Tamarac and it has been absolutely fantastic. It is one of the only water parks that is fairly reasonable in price and you can bring in your own food to. Her party will be next month and already I have been asked if it will be in the same place as last year as everyone had such a good time.
