Washing Out Temporary Dye?

A friend of mine dyed her hair pink for a spirit thing with her school... she is very VERY blonde, and her hair is still pink. She has washed it 6 times in the last 2 days... Any advice to help get the color out quicker? It's not that big of a deal, but she would like the color out.

What can I do next?

There is a product that they sell that strips the color out. It is in the aisle at walgreens with the other hair dyes and what not...I think it is called Oops.

My sons girlfriend did the same thing and I told her just cause it says it washes out in one shampoo in blondes it doesnt.lol I was a hairstylist for years but they still dont listen. Try using a clarifying shampoo. You can also take her to a salon to have a malibu treatment done to help push it out. It will fade and eventually go away but blonde hair loves that stuff

One of my friends with blonde hair dyed hers apricot and it stayed orange for much longer than the box said (6-8 weeks or more rather than 4). She could always dye over with a slightly darker more natural looking color but I'd consult someone who knows about dying first. I only know about tie dying, LOL.

Wow, I feel sorry for her but she will laugh about this one day...take a picture, lol.
What about:
Those shampoos that take off building up from spray or gel?
Or color her hair over?

If you can't find the product Betsy mentioned try baby shampoo or head and shoulders. I recently dyed my hair and it was darker than I wanted. This was suggested to me to lighten it. It seems it will gradually go back but blonde hair is going to really pick up any color.

Ugh my step daughter's mother used to let her dye her hair these awful colors (teal, cherry R., purple) that were supposed to wash out in a few shampoos. She is blond. Her last dye job was last July and it's still R. in some spots. She'll be living with faded pink for a long, long time.
