I would like to find or find others who would be willing to start a playgroup in the Overland Park area. I have a 3 yr old and a 5 yr old who will be going to AM kindergarten soon and I would love to have a playgroup that meets in the morning, so that there is something fun for my other daughter to look forward to.
On another note, I also would like to know if there are any mom's out there who would want to start a book club. I know being a mom is hectic enough and there is hardly any time for ourselves, but if any mom's out there are interested in carving out a night a month to get together and do something adult I would love to have something like that to look forward to.
I was just looking to post a play group for Overland Park area. I just moved here and would like some playmates for my 19 month old. I know it is 2 weeks later, but please let me know if there is room. I would definately be open to hosting one.I live at 119th and Quivera area. Book club is a great idea too.

My sis and I are both on this site and she can't do the play group and she works and is a college student. I might can do the play group as I am unemployed at the present. We do think the book club sounds good though. However she works evenings alot.
I would also be interested in a book club. Unfortunately we can't do a playgroup because I work full-time.
I can't do the play group because I work, but the book club is a good idea.
My favorite author right now is J. R. Ward. She is the author of the Blackdagger Brotherhood. A modern day vampire series.
I also enjoy alot of romance, history, financial, and non fictional books.

I would love to start / join a bookclub as well. I also would be interested in a playgroup. I have a 3 1/2yr old little girl, 1 1/2yr old little boy, and an 8wk old baby boy, and am also a stay at home mom. It would be great for the kids to have new friends to play with during the day.

I may be interested in a book club depending on the types of reading and the logistics of the meeting. I rarely leave my kids, but will consider something fun for myself occasionally:)
