I recently had a great idea (well, atleast I think it is..)on a mommy product, but I don't even know where to start. Anyone have any pointers? How do you manufacture, get a business license, etc.. I need to know how to start from the ground up!

I think the first step it to make one (if possible) and start using it. When other moms see your product and start asking about it, then you know you have a good idea.
They have classes at local collages on how to get your product out in the ,market place and start making $ etc.

the first thing to do is call THE OFFICE OF PROFESSIONAL REGULATION in SPRINGFIELD they are in charge of the business license for the state. They will tell you what you need to do to obtain certain licenses for your business.
Second, you could try the malls by walking thru to get other ideas like setting up a demo booth to display your product. Or applying for an advertisement ad in those coupon packs that come in the mail.
Finally, try a blog here or somewhere and getting the word out about your product.
