Hi Ladies need some help. I am wanting to take my 3 kids to Disney World for the first time and I am frustrated that all the hotels only accomadate 4 people. I was hoping to stay at a hotel in the park. I did see the Wilderness Cabin and I didn't really want to do that. And I already tried a travel agent. I do not want to pay double for 2 rooms. Do you any of you know a way around that? Or any hotels that are nice and allow 5 people in a room. Thanks in advance for your help!

You can book DVC properties through Disney. For example, Old Key West is a DVC resort, but you can rent a 1 , 2 or 3 bedroom house.

T., my daughter and her husband just took the 3 kids to disney. they stayed at one of the "moderate" price resort hotels. they had basically a suite. it had a bedroom with a queen bed and then the living room area had a pull out couch and pull out chair. she said it was great.

Hi T.~
About 7 years ago I went on vacation with my parents & 2 siblings. We stayed just outside of Disney, but they did accomodate all 5 of us. They gave us 2 double beds, and then we just requested a roll-away bed for our use as well. They had no problem with that request. I'd try asking about that & see what they say. I don't see why they wouldn't want to work with you!
Good luck!

Have you looked into staying at a Disney vacation club (DVC) property? They're timeshare condos owned by Disney. They are on the property and enjoy the same priviledves of the disney hotels. You can try booking through Disney or you can go to a website called mousesavers.com. On that site they have a link to a discussion board where you can get in touch with a DVC owner about renting through them. It's usually less expensive than booking directly through disney. Hope that helps! Good luck!

I would look into the Port Orleans Riverside Resort at Disney. They have rooms that will accomodate 5 people. They have 2 beds and one of the beds has a trundle bed. These are standard size hotel rooms in the moderate range for Disney hotels. We recently stayed at the Port Orleans French Quarter (the sister resort to Riverside and we were pleased with our choice). Good luck in your research. Have a great trip.

Wyndham Bonnet Creek Resort. It is a timeshare ON the Disney property near downtown Disney. It's the only non-Disney owned resort on the property. Super inexpensive & super nice! We had a 1 bedroom suite w/ full kitchen, full bath w/ jacuzzi, balcony, beautifully decorated w/ all granite & traditional furnishings for $130/night! Super cheap! Yes, we had to attend a 2 hour timeshare presentation, but we were paid $150 to go & just kept saying there is no way we're buying a timeshare. I would definitely recommend it, especially if you need a 1 or 2 bedroom suite. They have transportation to/from the parks. The only thing they do not have is all the Disney stuff on the property...but who needs that if you're going to be at the parks all day. Have fun.

I don't know anything about the Disney World hotels, but I don't see why they wouldn't let 5 people in a room?? I've got 2 siblings and growing up we would stay 5 people to a room at hotels.

Try hotels.com to see if you can find something. You put in the number of adults and number and ages of children & it finds hotels for you.
