are realy driving me nuts. they keep making my screen scroll so that its in view. no matter what i am doing these darn things will not go away and will not stop. they are auto playing, and auto scrolling my screen
i paused one of them and it didn't stop. why are these nasty unrelated things even here?
is anyone else having a problem with them?
I don't see any ads on Mamapedia or most other sites.
Ad Block Plus is a wonderful free add-on and it works with eight types of browsers.
I use Firefox.
The add ons I use are
Adblock Plus
Flashblock and
No Script
They work perfectly! and I don't see/hear anything I don't want to see/hear.
First of all, I NEVER have the volume going on my computer or ipad, unless I want it on to listen to something. I have NEVER even heard the sounds on any of the games I play online,
An Ad Blocker keeps any type of pop ups from appearing.
I keep my computer on mute so I don't have to listen to them jerking all around while they load, pause to load more, pause. I decided I wouldn't be shopping at any of the places that have ads on mamapedia because that would be like feeding the stray cat.
Not on my PC, but on my iphone it does make the screen constantly scroll back to the top, so I can't read earlier answers.
ETA: Thanks Jill! I just looked into the blocker you mention, and the ads are instantly gone.
