Verizon - New Cell Phone Suggestions? Love Yours?

I will be getting a new cell phone soon. We were planning on sticking with Verizon, so I am wondering from you Mama's if you have a cell phone you love (or hate)? I don't feel the need to have a BlackBerry, as I am a SAHM. I would like to have texting and calendar capabilities just for simple LIFE scheduling and communicating with my DH.

I am considering the LV3. Anyone have one? Love it? Hate it?

Many thanks,

Sara

I have the LG Dare & I love it. It took some time to get used to the touch screen, but it's great. I've had it for almost a year. Takes nice photos & you can edit right on the phone. The touch screen key board is decent size & after adjustment, I can do ok on it. Try all the suggested phones...what are you looking for in a phone too & investigate. There are consumer report type of info out there for phones too which I found helpful when deciding. Good luck!

we got our phones updated in june. that is when I got the LG envy(spelling). I like the texting capability because it has an alpha keypad, also a calendar function that is quite useful. my 15yo son has the same phone!

We have the Motorola Rival and we love it. It slides open for easy texting. You can take pictures/videos and "text" them to one another.

Also, it locks so you do not butt dial. And you can zoom in and out. If you do not get internet like us, have the store show you how to change your "easy" buttons so you do not accidentally hit it.

My husband bought me the Motorola Droid. So far, I absolutely love it! He did sign me up for the data packages since I am a Surprise Party rep and pretty much have had to live by my e-mail lately, but there are tons of applications on it that I use too (facebook, google mail, magic 8-ball...lol). It does take a bit to get used to a touch screen phone, but it's not too bad. And it does have a slide down full keyboard. My husband is actually jealous of my phone now...hehehe

I have Verizon as well and just got the enV 3 a couple of weeks ago and I love it. I too didn't feel the need for a blackberry but wanted texting and this phone is great, I would highly recommend it.

Just an FYI.......I have Veriaon......I went from a flip Moto 755 to an NV3......Love the texting with it........don't like (and maybe I'm doing it wrong) the fact that you have to have the cover open to use the speaker, don't like the camera....hard to get to zoom and to record a video.........(agian maybe I'm doing it wrong!!), it does have a keyboard lock but you still pocket dial!!! I'm getting used to it but sometimes wish I had my old one back!!

I have an LG Voyager & have for about a year. I still absolutly love it. It has a lockable touchscreen on the outside which is pretty user friendly & also opens up to a keyboard. It does have all the things that you are looking for.

My husband and I just got the LG NV3 about a week ago and I really likr it. The only bad thing I've heard is that it can shutself off sometimes, but I haven't had that happen yet. The inside screen is big and I thought the pictures it took were pretty good.
