Need vacation rental. Have checked VRBO and HomeAway with no luck. Wanted it in the Arlington area. It's for 2 families for a summer vacation. Need a pool too. Any ideas on websites? Should we just get a hotel that would have a kitchen? Any suggestions on that? We stayed in an extended stay hotel and it isn't enough room. Plus, their kitchen consists of a burner and a fridge and sink. Can't make meals. Ideas ladies and gentlemen?? Thanks!!
Tripadvisor has been helpful to me before. If you look at the listings under specialty lodging you might find something. Keep looking at different hotels; the available kitchens vary greatly. Resorts sometimes have privately owned houses or condos that are available to rent. Google Arlington vacation rentals to find sites similar to vrbo.
I was going to suggest TripAdvisor too . . . click on "Vacation Rentals."
You might want to ask if the local commerce sites have a website or if a particular realty company has one for that area. For example, in the Deep Creek, MD area, I strongly recommend Long and Foster.
I am going to also recommend TripAdvisor. We found our beach rental on that site. It was everything we wanted and a great price.

Is your family military/veteran/retired military?
If so, check out the Armed Forced Vacation Club site. They have LOADS of great deals on timeshares and hotels. Including houses and condos.
